only because Barkley tried to play hero and intercept the Pass to Pippen at the topof the key, which made EVERYONE rotate around. If Charles just plays within himself there, Paxson never gets the trickle down wide open trey.

It was the only shot/points any Bull BUT Michael hit in the fourth quarter.

I still thought we were going to win with 2.3 left on the clock. :(

For all the web sites, there is still not enough details to make up for our memories fading.

One thing about the current Suns versus that team is that they did not have anyone who could pretend to be a center who was a threat to score. Offensively, it was always going four on five.

I have the whole game on DVD, it's an extra on the Chicago Bulls DVD and considered one of the best Bulls games ever.

I have the last minute burned into my memory. Can someone please tell me what the hell Frank Johnson was doing shooting in the last minute and missing a WIDE OPEN 16 footer from the side of the key? Or Thunder ***** footing an 8 foot jumper/airball or Westy making the choke sign after Charles got the Offensive rebound with 40 seconds to go?

Man - the end of that game was infuriating - I HAD TIX TO GAME 7!!!!!!!!

Good article, Eric!

I do have a couple of concerns that didn't get mentioned yet. One is the heavy reliance on 3-pt shots - will we be able to make them under playoff pressure? We've been holding up during the stretch run which a good sign but it still worries me that we haven't developed a more well rounded half court game.

The other concern is D'Antoni's coaching. Will he be able to make adjustments, which is normally much more important in a series than it is when you see a new team every night. And, it has seemed to me that he is slow to pick up on what's taking place on the floor. Also, he's avoided anything resembling a 'big' frontcourt like the plague so would he even realize it if, say, Amare, Hunter and Marion were to be needed? To me it's been obvious he needed to work a unit together like that in games in preparation for the 'real' season, but as we all know he's not done it. And, probably hasn't for of philosophical reasons.

Yep, both of those legitimate worries. I also thought that I should say something about depth, which is improved since the Jackson and McCarty auditions (even though McCarty hasn't exactly thrilled everyone on this board) but still a question mark, especially if someone gets hurt.

But see, the thing is, I already had five "cons" to balance the five "pros." And I knew if the negative category was larger, I'd catch all kinds of hell from certain people. I didn't really feel like adding more positives to balance it out, so I took the lazy coward's approach and left some points out.

He just played those three together against Houston on Sunday.

I counted them after I read the article.

 HUH!!! Do you actually watch any of the games? We don't have a problem with our half court game, This is not last years team.

I'm not sure I would say NO problems. There are nights when the Suns aren't hitting their threes where the team really struggles. Physical defenses can take them out of their rhythm and they start taking bad shots.

None the less, the Suns are able to score in the half court better than any Suns team they've had in recent memory.

When Nash has fresh legs, a simple pickand roll with Amare is among the surest weapon there is in the NBA. If tired, Nash's jumper tends to get inaccurate real soon. So, our main concern is how the coaches adjust our game plans towards any given situation and that we trust the bench long enough to give Nash enough rest. Otherwise, we are fine.
