there are rumors flying around about a similar change to what the pats and bucs did. copper helmet and pants red jerseys at home . white jerseys red pants with copper and black striping with a black facemask. pats went metallic with silver the bucs went metallic with pewter now the cards introduce a new color to the league metallic copper. i know bidwill has been heard saying the helmet will stay white but he also said there would be no changes to the cardinal look what happened

Just playing devil's advocate...who said the white would stay (if the helmets go copper)? I wouldn't mind red and copper as colors if that were the case.

Yeah, I have no doubt they'll remain white (and I'm happy for it). I was just pointing out that IF they went with copper helmet (as is suggested in the first post), that white probably wouldn't need to be a part of the color scheme.

Copper Helmets would look cheap and rediculous...They might as well put Abe Lincoln on the helmet, for if they went to copper, the Cards wouldn't make a penny on merch. sales.

The reason that the majority of the teams in the league have gone to darker helmets is that they look more imposing (Seattle -silver to steel blue, Tampa Bay-white to pewter, Denver -skyblue to navy, San Diego - white to navy, Atlanta -red to black, Phildadelphia - kelly green to gunmetal) I guess Bidwill wants to live in the past and contain the thought that it is important to retain the "storied history" (of losing) and keep the white helmets. To me the worst jerseys in the league are the Jets but that's New Yorkers for you, they love it.

Dark Cardinal with a black facemask would be unique to league and give similar upgrade like Philly. Might as well copy winners instead of keeping a losing look.
One of the best looks in college football used to be Texas A&M when they wore blood red from helmet, facemask, jerseys and pants, it was a very tough look.

The copper helmet has already been done by the Rattlers in the AFL, not a big fan with combination with teal. I afraid that it will look awful with Cardinal.

some of you may recognize me from various uniforn websites...first off i have to disagree about the all red look it is what you call a monochrome look and is really hated on most uni sites it's a college look also the rattlers colors look more of a gold to me i was thinking more of real copper look how the bucs took the pewter look some say it looks a little silver a little gold they could make this copper unique and yes they would keep white in the scheme

the 49ers did update their uniform more of a metallic gold and also added black changed the number font and added black to the logo something like what the lions did so the cards are actually the last ones to update from the division

I just dont see the point in threads like these. The helmets are gonna stay white. Yet, some of you think M. Bidwill is lying? This is gonna be a long 3 months speculating on uniforms. Im already tired of it.

Honestly I would much prefer the white to the Copper...I really do like the classic helmet..maybe not the gray facemask so much..but much better than copper..

I for one am all for keeping some the team's history in the uniform. Some people state that the white helmets make us look like a bunch of losers...gee, I wonder if Manning feels like a loser in his white helmet or Curtis Martin in his white helmet.

Let's see....new stadium with a roof. If I were chosing the helmet color, I would not be thinking about one or two September games in 2005, I would be thinking long term.
