Not sure where I'm at, but I scored a single. I couldn't get any pairs.

I'll be in Section 245 - Row 1.

Can't wait for the game. If I'm not far from the half-time meet, I'd love to meet up with some of you crazy's.

(By the way, I have the best wife in the world, who changed her work schedule so I could make this trip. I'm sure she'll pull this out at some point in our marrage to get something she wants...but so be it.)

Go Cards!!!

You could still get singles online a little while ago. I've also seen some uppers on ebay for 200 each.

We are driving in from texas again for the game. If anyone wants to let us join them for tailgating we would love it and are willing to bring food or beer or cash. Thanks !

Here's a trick I learned on Springsteen tours from years past.

Start calling TM tomorrow and keep trying throughout the day. Tickets that were bought with non-AZ billing addys will be put back into the system, as will tickets bought with credit cards that were declined. But make sure you talk to an actual agent (and not the automated lines) and be nice and ask them to please go in and actaully check the system...don't automatically take their "It's sold out" answer as gospel. I've been able to get tickets to a few Bruce shows this way after they were declared "Sold Out" shortly after going on sale.

Good luck and GO CARDS!!!!!

http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nfcwest/0-7-106/Blackout-watch--Cards-sell-out-in-minutes.html

We won't be running a "blackout watch" heading into the Cardinals' next home playoff game.

The team sold the remaining 20,000 or so tickets in 6 minutes, according to the Arizona Republic.

Getting the NFC title game at home stands as one of the most significant developments in recent franchise history.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt and staff have been close to winning over skeptics. Beating the Falcons at home was a big step forward. Beating the Panthers in the divisional round was another step forward. Getting the title game at home will give the organization unprecedented momentum.
The atmosphere for the wild-card game against the Falcons was sensational. The experience trumped anything the organization could have accomplished through marketing or anything else unrelated to results on the field. The NFC title game could multiply the wild-card effect.
I would compare the team's struggles in selling out the wild-card round to its struggles on the field late in the season. Neither is relevant any longer.

Yep, tried to get tickets, failed.

A friend of mine got through, then thought it was too expensive. When I heard that I died a little inside, because I tried calling and had other friends trying to get through and none of us were successful.

Damn it.

I'm sorry but I like the rule. It keeps Philly fans from getting the tickets.
Great minds. I know it sucks, but most Cards fans have some sort of AZ connection to be able to get tickets. Anything to help keep tix out of Eagles fans' hands.

It also keeps the many Cardinal fans who do not live in AZ from seeing the game. They need to do something about it, either have an AZ Cardinals supporters group or something and have a special pre-sale for people like that also give deals with away games. Make it cost to join I know I would happily pay...that would also cut down on the brokers a little.

Anyways, thankfully, I was able to use my parents to get tickets...

Does ticketmaster send an e-mail when your tickets have been UPSed? I passed up on the option of printing out the ticket because I want the souvenir. They'll be sent to my parents address so I want to be able to give them a heads up when its getting delivered.

I tend to disagree. I now see all kinds of ticketmaster tickets on Ebay that will fall into beagle fans hands. All that did was help AZ scalpers. Where were all these fan last week when we hardly sold out the Atl game? Its not insuring that Cards fans are getting the tickets. Now because of it I can't bring my family of four die hard fans? That just sux, if you ask me.

And while I am on a rant let me tell you another thing that is juist wrong. I checked out how much it would cost to fly my family out for the game.efore Philly won. It was about $1000 ($250 ea), costly but not too bad, half hour after the game airfare went to $417 ea. So if I have to pay $1700 to fly us out there I only have about $1300 more to spend. I was willing to spend $3000 for all of us.

I still expect a lot of Philly fans to get tickets from the agencies that own several thousand seats.
I was actually surprised at how FEW Falcons fans bought those seats.
MAYBE there's enough monied locals that are on the bandwagon so that there will be a minimum of those angry, bitter, spiteful Philly fans.
Good luck to all you out of state Card fans in getting to this game.

I just got a couple of tickets for $185 each... they are pretty decent seats. It seemed like there were still quite a few seats available on the site that weren't too expensive. I got them on ninjatickets.com

Hope this helps because it should be a great game!

We are talking about the playoffs. That's a whole different ball game.

I will never understand that logic. The regular season has everything to do with the play-offs. Not saying that a few ticket sales can make a team lose, but like Whiz said you don't sell out. So you're only loyal during the play-offs? Just sounds like you're being either a hypocrite or you realized that you were wrong before. I hope it the latter.

I was able to sell my playoff tickets to my friends for face value. I had a hard time finding anyone wanting to pay half of face value for any of the regular season games. That is where the difference lies.

Until my Kids are old enough to enjoy the games or my Friends are willing to pay face value for a ticket (which might happen next season), I'll continue to sell my extra seats for a couple of regular season games.

So yes there is a difference. For the first time as a Cardinal season ticket owner I've actually had a dozen requests for my extra tickets yesterday. On top of that they were not from my friends who support the opposing team. They were from people who are now interesting in seeing the Cardinals play.

When the Eagles game ended, I fielded four calls from friends, two who I hadn't spoken to in years, all asking me if I knew how they could get tickets.

I've never felt so special (or should I feel used?).

Look at it as an opertunity to grow new Cardinal fans.
