Arizona has a very hard remaining schedule with their last three of four games against 3 possible playoff teams. Finishing the season 1-3 is entirely possible and Seattle has a cupcake schedule the rest of the way with the exception of the season finale against the Cardinals.

Those possible playoff teams have a tough schedule having to play us the final 3 games.

I was just looking at that. I think Seattle should run the table into week 17. I have a hard time seeing us drop a game this Thursday. Statistically speaking, AZ has a 90-95% chance of winning Thursday. I also have a hard time seeing us loose to philly in week 15.

There may be nothing to play for come week 17. We should be 13-2/12-3 by then (which regardless of what Seattle does, we will have clinched), and their is a good chance Carolina will have locked up the 1 seed with a 15-0 record.

Speaking of statistics, I'd rather give Seattle week 17. I wouldn't want to face Seattle in the playoffs with a 2-0 record against them this season.

If you really believe we could go 1-3 with 3 home games, then we have no shot in the playoffs and there is no point going.

Thursday night is huge. We win and the rest of the season becomes 100x more manageable...

Yep, have to win Thursday, one game at a time and see how it shakes out.

Here is the question.... If we have the #2 seed locked up and can't get the #1 seed, but can eliminate Seattle from the playoffs in week 17, so we play everyone or rest the starters?

I don't believe it, I do believe it's possible with three teams desperate playing for playoff berths.

Palmer won't play in that scenario, but everyone else could be very likely to play.

Seattle is one team I don't want to see in the playoffs. I think the Cards will fare fairly well against the rest of the field.

Saints leading the Panthers 14-0 in the first Q

If they lose we have a shot at best record. They could lose again and.....

The Cardinals will be hard pressed to beat the Eagles in Philadelphia. Don't count roadies as wins.

Yup. Any road game is a tough game, especially in what's likely to be bad weather. I still expect a W, but it'll be a tough game and unbelievably it looks like the Eagles will still have something to play for in that awful division.
