Start expecting to see nfl uniforms looking like soccer uniforms. It's all about $
Teams already are allowed practice uniform patches. Next year GAMEDAY!

This is how you continue to show year-over-year growth. Hopefully tradition wins out. This seems over the top to me.

Personally, I think they should stop being greedy and put something worthwhile on the jerseys. Like a charity.. I nominate them putting my checking accounts routing number on it.. :D

I highly doubt we will see any advertising on any NFL jerseys during games anytime soon! JMO

They will need more than just the routing number, if you're wanting the $$ to show up in your account. ;)

no...just no...already had to walk away from the NBA due to them being a bunch of illiterate greedy bastards....NFL is the only sport I have left....at some point the integrity of the league has to hold fast against the greed.

Super Bowl,...brought to you by BUDWEISER........while the teams playing in it are sponsored by Miller and Coors............

Pretty sad if you ask me. The revenue is not worth the fact that teams will differentiate themselves by the quality of sponsors they obtain. The 49ers, Bears, Steelers, Patriots, Packers, and Cowboys will draw sponsors like American Express, Toyota, Coca Cola, IBM, Disney, etc.

I've just received a mock up of the Cardinals jerseys for 2013.

Anyone have a link to this story? I cant find anything about this. The NBA recently approved this, but nothing about the NFL.

I think the original poster may have confused the NBA and the NFL on this.. I searched too and the first result was this thread.. Then there were only NBA results saying it has been approved.. Those stories on the NBA came out 5 days ago..

Maybe it will be the NFL buying ads on NBA jerseys.

OH MY GOD THE SKY IS FALLING

Oh wait, this is the NBA not NFL. Well, I could see how it would be confusing, they both start with "N".
