Just wrong.
Even if it's optional, teams won't risk not doing it.

Here is a model of the Cardinals Black jersey for 2013:
It was ran on NFL radio during meetings that they approved the GAMEDAY patches for 2013. The nfl kept quite on the practice jerseys and ran it on a sat cycle so it would be dropped. I am 100% sure it has been approved.
I'm sorry, but I still don't see any printed sources on it. Until that point, I'm going to have trouble believing its true. Nothing personal.
Thankfully Goodell say's no patches.I'm sorry, but I still don't see any printed sources on it. Until that point, I'm going to have trouble believing its true. Nothing personal.
Link.NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a visit to Detroit Lions training camp today that the league is not currently considering putting advertisements on its uniforms.
How about this: We go to the Euro soccer model and let teams be sponsored, but also completely eliminate commercials?
Who wouldn't be down with that? Nothing is worse about NFL games than the never ending commercial cycle.
At home, I don't mind the commercials because with Sunday Ticket, I surf.
At the stadium, the delays are terrible!!!!
Personally, I think they should stop being greedy and put something worthwhile on the jerseys. Like a charity.. I nominate them putting my checking accounts routing number on it..
