Three excellent choices. Although I would prefer DT Jaleel Johnson of Iowa at #77. I would be excited to have Davis and Lewis at #13 and #45.

I think we need to address WR early this year. I would be ecstatic if the Cardinals added a WR and a QBOTF in this draft. I think Mike Williams is the best prospect, but Corey Davis will be a starter too.

I'm out on 1st round WRs and 5'10 CBs in round 2. Too dependent and too limited.

Give me
1-Marshon Lattimore - CB (a CB who is actually the size that we prefer)
2-Tim Williams - OLB
3-Malachi Dupree - WR (best value WR)

Though legitimately, taking Marcus Williams in round 3 would be ok as well.

in Jourdan Lewis' defense: he played press man 60% of the time in college and was outstanding at it. you know what you are getting here

Hate it

Love Davis but I feel WRs are a discount position and not a dire need right this second. I do believe Larry is coming back, and with Nelson, (healthy) Smoke and (healthy) Jaron, we dont need a 1st round WR right now.

We have a window this year. We need to take somebody who will help us win a superbowl this year. Oline, ILB, S or CB

Yup. I'm getting a 5'10 CB who teams will scheme to exploit in the red zone and in short yardage situations. If we didn't have a S who is short and plays in the slot, I would have less of an issue with it.

This is the scenario I've been talking about that makes the most sense. The CB pool is so deep it can survive a round one run on corners and leave round 2 choices. Remember we're talking #2 corner. I still think trading down is better than taking Davis, though he should be a solid performer. There are useful receivers to be had later in this round. If they go down to around 22 they should pick up a late second. At 22 they can pick up a corner or take a WR if someone like Ross drops. If they take the corner I like Smith-Schuster somewhere in round 2. I like him better than this draft does. Again Pro Days & the Combine may reshape this.

I am a Kevin King fan... he is a senior so has experience,...even though he did bounce to safety for a year... also, 6'3" he has fantastic length for a CB... expected to run about 4.5 at the combine so he does not have blazing speed.... I think he would fit in great as a #2 CB.... have been targeting him for the third round but I think as the draft gets closer he may sneak into the second

I am kinda hoping for a first three rounds like...

Cunningham

King

Dupree

IMO, three starters...even though ZC is still a bit raw he has fantastic instincts and great athleticism......at this point ZC and KK are slight reaches at those spots but as the draft draws closer I think they will become acceptable picks there.... had king picked for the third but I just don't see him being there when we pick in the third.

I think Dupree is going to be a very good WR so I love any draft that has him in it even in round 2.

We are going to have some real big choices between good offensive players and good defensive players in this draft.

I still hope we move on OJ Howard at 13.

I like Howard a lot as well. Maybe go Howard 13 and Dupree second round?

It would help the offense, that is for sure. I'm hard pressed to find too many other player combinations I like better.

The tough part will be if Lamp and Feeney are available in round 2. Both of them are going to be good but could get the Cody Whitehair treatment. I just really want a top 5 offensive line.

I have been pimping Zack Cunningham myself. I think this kid could be a special player.

My top 2 targets each round:
Round 1: Reuben Foster, OJ Howard
Round 2: Curtis Samuel, Dan Feeney
Round 3 : Cameron Sutton, Malachi Dupree

The OJ Howard, Dan Feeney, and Malachi Dupree stack is one that is tough to argue but feels like we are wasting a chance at really good defensive prospects. That being said, it would really improve the foundation of our offense, and I am on board.

They already have a pretty physical wideout in Brown and Nelson is developing pretty nicely.. You can get WR's throughout the draft and it looks like it's fairly deep again at that position. I'd like the FO to target some vets at CB, WR and interior OL so that they don't have to draft any particular position at #13. Just take the gift that's handed you.

One never knows who is going to fall each round, but like others I like this grouping, based on which positions we fill in a previous round:

R1 - Reuben Foster, Zach Cunningham, Takkarist McKinley, fallback = any 1 of the top 3 CBs available

R2 - Adoree' Jackson, Desmond King, O J Howard, fallback = a top OG/C Lamp, Feeney, Pocic, Elflein

R3 - If 1 falls: OG/C Lamp, Feeney, Pocic, Elflein; or Raekwon McMillan, Chris Wormley, Kevin King, Tyler Orlosky, Eddie Jackson, fallback = RB Foreman or WR Dupre

R4-7 - I like to always package these later round picks to get higher picks in late R3 and/or R4 in order to get better players and at least 1 more potential starter.
