Would love to see the NFL play a game in Vegas. I dont think it will happen b/c of the ignorance of professional sports franchises re: gambling. This market could easily support an NFL, NBA, or MLB team, but the fear of corruption is too strong. It is really too bad

Yeah the NBA All Star game really showed how great professional sports work in Vegas

I don't like it. Cut the preseason to two games if you add a 17th regular season game.

That's right on. And I can think of at least one strip club that Pacman isnt allowed in. For a league having trouble with discipline, a Vegas trip is probably not the best idea right now.

I think if the NFL wants to go overseas, they should do it with a bang. Send teams all over Europe, N. America, and even into China and Japan. I think from a marketing perspective it would really sell.

They might be able to develop some ties between cities. Might be kind of cool if the Cards first game was in Tokyo each year. They might adopt the Cards as their team to root for.

Kind of cool idea. I do agree that it's probably not feasible until the next CBA. High-profile American athletes traveling around the world would (and should) demand a lot more money for the extra security risk.

That has nothing to do with Vegas and everything to do with the type of crowds the NBA draws. Watch what happens in New Orleans next year.

So no other place has Strip clubs or gambling? Thats ridiculous. It is called individual responsibility and has nothing to do with Vegas. Fact is Vegas is the biggest tourism attraction in the country, has a faiirly large population (2 million+) and a professional sports team here would have no other competition for sports dollars. MLB might be tough due to the sheer amount of home games, but and NBA or NFL team here would work very well.
