NFL Network To Broadcast Friday's Practice

You must be registered for see images

The NFL Network is doing their first-ever remote broadcast at a team practice when they cover the opening of the Arizona Cardinals mini-camp on Friday morning.

Three cameras will be on hand to capture the action and transmit it via satellite to the Network's Los Angeles studio where hosts Rich Eisen and Darren Woodson will provide commentary. The NFL Network's Darrin Horton will be the on-site reporter conducting interviews.

Viewers will be able to watch the coverage during Friday evening's airing of "Total Access" at 4:00 PM (Pacific)/7:00 PM (Eastern).

They should link it up to the website, for all of us that don't got NFL Network. Kind of like they did with the combine. Is it possible.

Wow. How cool is this? Anyone know why they picked the Cardinals?

I think for rookies it is optional? I believe Larry Fitzgerald was there last year, even though he didn't have to be.

The Mini Camp is for the full squad. Veterans and Rookies. That is why the Fan Fest Event on Saturday is going to be so cool. It gives fans a chance to see the new free agents like Ross, Warner, and Okeafor plus you can see the draft class and other rookies just one week into their NFL careers.

So, it's not going to be on at 10 am?

Will we see the entirety of practice, or just a few clips during NFL Total Access?

Has there been any word yet on which team will have their July training camp filmed? Last three years have been the Ravens, Cowgirls & Jaguars. Hopefully this year will be our Cardinals.

TIVO People...

In the absence of more clarifying info regarding time and duration of the event, I plan to leave my Recording time set up to bracket the live event (between 12:15 pm and 4:15 pm EDT) today and then re-record it during the Total Access show at 7 pm EDT.

I'm figuring that there may be an outside chance that they'll telecast a longer version of the event "live" and then edit it down for the Total Access Show.

Or not. (So it can't hurt to cover all bases).

They're doing running play drills right now. Arrington looks quick going around the corner.

Here goes Rolle.

Was that JJ that caught that pass and went streaking away? He's fast!

Shipp doing resistance running. Looks good.

Graves said they're looking to see how quickly the players can pick up the info. Also looking for quickness and speed.

Arrington taking a lot of the carries in the running drills.

Fast tempo.

Griffith picked off Navarre. Navarre throwing a lot of dump off passes.

WR and db's are doing 1 on 1 cover drills.

What time is this on tonight. 4pm...7pm? I want to see it in it's entirety not just clips on NFL total access.
