Blatant hold on Hilton by Texans defender, flag thrown, then picked up.

Ref said that it was picked up because Hasselbeck was outside the pocket, and he was, and that changes the call. Announcers, who criticized the call, admitted they were wrong. To be honest, I didn't know the rule, and initially thought the call was botched.

Too many flags in general.

Stopped watching football last night and turned on hockey.

That football game was unwatchable.

I told my wife last night while watching the game that refs are ruining the game and I was starting to lose my love (just a bit) of the game.

This year I feel that too many ticky-tack fouls are determining the outcomes of games.

No question. I am in favor of coaches being able to use their challenge flags for ANY call. This will eliminate all problems on questionable calls. With the technology we have, I would rather the game last a little bit longer and get the call right, then to say a team got screwed (like the Lions did) after the fact which can ruin a teams season.

Belichick would throw a flag after every play and the game would be 7 hours long. :mulli:

It is getting worse. Too many calls seem to screw us over as well!!

I think we got a couple of iffy PI calls week two but the big ones never go our way.

I must agree that there have been too many bad calls. Yes, including some against the Cards, but the refs seem to be equal opportunity missers (sp). To me not knowing the rules is even worse. With what's at stake, BA is right: the NFL should employ full-time refs.

What's worse the bad calls that are happening, or just the shear amount of calls in general?
