That Russell Wilson is one classy guy and a very good QB. It's nice to see him get a ring.

That was one of the worst SB I've ever seen and it had nothing to do with the fact that Seattle was in it. BOOOOORING! No drama at all. That said I'll take my 200.00 SB square win :)

Oh and if the Cards are in the SB again I hope to win in the same manner as the Seahawks. No stress the entire game.

No thanks, I'll pass.
The best thing about the end of this game is that Sherman isn't out there to celebrate with this posse.

Then you're no different than what you accuse Seahawk fans of being. Your choice but don't cast aspersions at another team when you're acting just like you think they act.

yeah, the last Super Bowl that awful was Ravens-Giants. Difference there is everyone KNEW that game was going to be awful. I feared Seattle unleashing hell on Manning, but for the game to NEVER be close was just painful to watch from, literally, the opening snap.

I believe this is the biggest blowout since Dallas/Buffalo and it was reminiscent of the Super Bowls that plagued the 80's. And Peyton Manning is beginning to solidify himself as the biggest choke artist of all time. Sure he did win a Super Bowl but that's because his team faced a team QB'd by Rex Grossman. At least his brother bested Tom Brady twice, something Peyton has been unable to do.

not only that, but Manning didn't really even have a very good game in that Super Bowl, throwing for 247, 1 TD and 1 INT.

dude just isn't a playoff pressure QB. never played well in his biggest games in college (ALWAYS crapped the bed against UF every year and Nebraska in the Orange Bowl) and his big playoff wins are just few and far between and dwarfed by failures on the biggest stage.

He's slightly better than Marino and only because he has a title at least but when it came to playoff pressure, Marino folded faster than an origami artist on speed as well.

agreed.

not only that, but Manning needed a HUGE 20 point miracle comeback victory, at home, against a really pedestrian 10-6 Pats team in the AFC title game back in 2006 to even get to that Super Bowl which was dominated by his defense and his running game.

Your saying he fumbled the first snap? Really? Come on now. I don't put this loss on him that was a team wide meltdown. Where was that running game? That Denver line was dominated. That Defense gave up damn near 50 points they couldn't get stops all night, special teams craps the bed to open up the second half.

That was a team wide ass whooping.

It's like he's the opposite of his brother who sucks during the regular season and plays lights out in the post season. Two SB titles, one after going 10-6 the other after a 9-7 season.

Really, and where exactly did I accuse Seahawk fans of being something? Please enlighten me or are you just making assumptions??

Someone wrote the best anecdote about Manning, can't remember where I read it, but the reporters were up in the press box, Broncos are losing badly and obviously going to lose, and an announcement comes over the press intercom that Manning just broke the record for most completions in a Superbowl.

The article said they all burst out laughing. Because that's the story of Manning's career, great as he is.

Manning is nothing more than this generations Marino with one SB win. He just can't win the big game when needed, but puts up phenomenal numbers.

Most loses by a QB in the playoffs too.

agreed. the guy is a great talent, tactician, but it's undeniable that when the chips are down and pressure's turned to 11, he just rarely rises to the occasion.

11 consecutive seasons with 10 or more wins. Wouldn't we love to have that instead of all our 5-11 seasons. I don't think I'd know how to act if Arizona went 12-4 for 5 years in a row and made the playoffs 13 times in 14 years.

But like I've written before expectations change and making the playoffs isn't good enough any more. I remember Whitey Herzog getting fired in KC because his teams were in the playoffs every year but couldn't bring home the big trophy more than once.

Couple of seats from me at the Superbowl 2 lady Seahawk fans with dyed green hair were giving this 12 year old Bronco fan major smack talk. Kid started crying.

Just wish the game was closer.
