Great. We'll probably end up with another defenseman.

Edmonton should be banned from drafting that high. They've had their chances.

Maybe this means the Suns will get super lucky and win the lottery.

What, what am I smoking?

Comes as no surprise, ARZ teams (Mercury the exception) never have luck on their side when it comes to the #1 pick in any league.

Why did they even change the draft system this year? Edmonton will now have received the top pick in FOUR out of the last SIX drafts! Meanwhile, Arizona fans lose out on yet another superstar and possibly their NHL franchise.

Yeah, I hate to sound extremist, but the franchise needs a big change of fortunes if its going to stay around... and this was a huuuuuuge whiff.

NHL should know that AZ needed any kind of positive outcome from draft. Granted, you never know how the pick will turn out but this team needs all the help to stay in AZ. This seriously blows...I'm really really disappointed. It's the real start of yotes leaving AZ.

Hope they pick Strome but would not surprise me if they go with Hanifin.

At least we'll get to play against McDavid 4-5 times a year.

One overtime win against the Sabres cost us a guarantee of at least #2

Yeah, the fans in Buffalo were booing their team and cheering for the Coyotes! What a crock. They should have just brought the AHL affiliate in for the game. :p Stupid league wouldn't do squat!
