I love Q definitely. I wouldn’t mind if he was the pick, BUT I do not want SF to get Bosa. That means we would have to trade with OAK if we know for sure they’re going to draft Bosa.
The jets will have the second pick, in that case Bosa is unpickable by san Francisco

everythinhg is unpredictable now till combine and following interviews with prospects, if quinnen put some Aaron Donald numbers or closer to them, then quinnen is the unanimous first pick

Quinnen isn't going to put up Donald type numbers at the combine. Long speed isn't the reason he dominates. He is more N Suh type. He wins with Quickness, Power, Elite technique and ability to find and finish.

Yes i know but he has a great first step, if he can have a 1.65 yards split is a freak

After watching the Alabama game, there is nothing I see from Q Williams that would make me want to draft him with the 1st overall pick. He had 1 tackle & 1 hurry & I must have missed both. As soon as he escapes the wrath of Saban & gets paid NFL money, this guy will lay down, fatten up, and make a great Santa Claus every December. The 1st overall pick had better be someone that keeps me on the edge of my seat watching the game. If that's our reward for being an unwatchable team all year, then I'll be depressed come the April Draft.

And that’s hats my greatest fear. There is no guy this year that’s such an award. Terrible time to get #1.

Williams was a beast going up against a historic offense. Not sure what dude was watching. Probably just looked at the sack stats.
I doubt dude was even looking at the right jersey number (#92). I bet he was looking at Isaiah Buggs(#49).

Based on what I have seen to date, I would be happy with Bosa and Bosa only at number one

Ironic that many wanted to lose games, tank if you will, and now bitch about the talent at the top of the draft.

The reason I wanted 0-16 was to make it impossible for the Cardinals to retain Wilks. I just can’t in any way possible watch another season of unwatchable football. Still better to have the #1 pick. If we end up with a bust, it’s 100% on us. At #1, I want a game changer. Bosa & Oliver have the potential to be exactly that. Not sold that Williams is that kind of guy. I can just see me taking my grandkids to see Santa, and Q is the jolly old St. Nick. At least he might give me his autograph though;)

I'm not seeing what you are seeing about Williams. He is 20 years old and smashing dudes 2 years older than him.

If we go with Williams, I hope you’re 1000% correct. In all my years of watching this team, I don’t think we’ve ever been in a position like this where we can’t afford to miss on pick. At a time when everyone in our Division appears to have success in their futures, we are the worst team in all of football. And it’s not even close.

In my mind it is a floor vs ceiling argument between Bosa and Williams. Bosa has a higher floor. I don't see a likely path to him being a bust. It is also a really good year for IDL players.

Williams has a higher ceiling IMO. He is a freak show inside where pressure can be tough to scheme against. He will be 20 when he is drafted which gives you a ton of years. He fits in most systems.

I believe we are in a good spot to get an impact player. Coaching will screw up this pick more than the actual player will.

The consensus top player is Bosa. Extremely high floor, technician, and student of the game. Only reason I would shy away is if his family doesn’t want him here and threatens a holdout. But I don’t anticipate that.

Chandler Jones and Bosa would be a nice recipe for tough matchups against opposing offenses

Must have watched a diffrent game than me. That Oklahoma offensive line is the best in the country and he was in the backfield all night being disruptive.

I’d imagine the family being pretty excited about their kids playing close together. We had a tough year but nobody is refusing to come here.

I'm sure it was the same game. I really don't care how often he was in the backfield, he DIDN'T finish. 1 hurry & 1 tackle. Those are the facts. I'm sure he'll be going up against better O-Lines in the NFL than what he saw last night. OU plays in the no-D Big12, so rest assured their O-Line has to be overrated.

This sounds like something Skip Bayless would say.

If you want Williams, then trade down to 5-8 & pick him. I just wouldn't use the 1st overall pick on a DT. the 1st overall has to be a game changer. If you keep the pick, then it should be Bosa.
