I'm not shocked either--but like Shaggy said; they lost half the team in the off-season. This is like something you'd hear out of Oakland or Cleveland.

I think he was never meant to be anymore than a scapegoat anyway.

They may very well hire Chip Kelly, but IMHO there are too many organizational problems there to make it work. Plus, Kaep simply cannot hit open receivers, so I don't see him doing much in the NFL again.

Hopefully a rebuild will keep them down for a few years..

I heard/read the same thing about Tomsula and his shenanigans during Harbaugh's final season in SF. If that's all true then he should not be surprised by the way he was treated in getting fired after just one season.

Chip Kelly has said that he doesn't want control over personnel. So, get that crap out of any argument. I think Kelly winds up at either NYG (if Coughlin retires), Tenn, Indy or San Fran. All would benefit from him.

As I understand it, Baalke wanted Gase, the owner insisted on Tomsula being DC. Tomsula as Head Coach was all York.

those ORG problems are the same ones that were there when the niners were dominant.
