Just a dumb play by Jenkins. You can't excuse that, hopefully he atones for it with a pick in the 2nd half.

If I was Fisher I would set a tone & bench him the 1st series out. Absolutely inexcusable mental lapse.

That play is on the Rams coaches.

I agree to a point. Jenkins has to also realize the situation...never bite on the double move there. He should've just played 12 yds off & give up the short ball like PP21 ;)

That TD was complete BS! For one, the Niners LG does nothing more than grab his guy so badly he turned the 360.

Second, when the pass is completed Staley is on the four yard line!!! Am I supposed to believe Staley covered 7 yards in that short of time?

man, the Rams suck. Their defense, which was supposed to be awesome is awful.

I just love listening to Kaep and Boldin giving interviews. Hate them. Really.

#2 overall draft pick Greg Robinson had his first start at guard. The Niner's exploited the rookie in the second half. Robinson was fine when he locked up with a defender lined up directly opposite him. But any movement in the d-line baffled him. Time and time again the Niner's got pressure by overloading the other side of the line leaving Robinson to block air. The Rams never adjusted or even ran a draw play through the hole the Niner's gave them.

Jeff Fisher and his staff are the problem in St. Louis.

What are the odds that Fisher is fired after this season?

Is everything

The Rams would be fools to fire Fisher. He's doing an admirable job with what he has to work with (using a 3rd string QB for one). He had a good gameplan in place for SF and had them ready to play. The Rams were going to take a 14 or 18 point lead right before the half but then came that rediculous phantom offensive pass interference penalty that wiped off a nifty 25 yard gain deep into SF territory. Then the wheels came off.

They screwed up some key plays, I ranted on that one before the half and it was truly inexcusable. That Niner TD was the biggest momentum swing of the game and it was 100% on Fisher's terrible management of the clock and game situation. He is well on his way to missing the playoffs for the 5th year in a row and 8th time in his last 10 years as a coach. He had a good run in Tennessee a decade ago but the game appears to have caught up with him.
