Yeah, it's exciting. First playoff appearance since 2012, been a long wait. But hoping for more than just an appearance. My concern is I think Goldschmidt's elbow injury is more serious than it's been reported. I get not fully disclosing because you don't want opponent to strategize around that.

Thank goodness for JD. I sure hope the D-backs do whatever they have to -- w h a t e v e r -- to keep him. He is the difference maker! JD = just dingers, just doubles, just deliver, just don't-leave.

Greinke does a lot of good preparation for his games -- 32 per season. It has been reported that JD does as much preparation for his games -- all 162.

Heard a few interviews with Torey and Archie... They're saying all the right things - especially Torey... talking about how it's normal to feel nervous and amped up. This is October baseball! "Long-Sleeve Baseball"!!! As usual, it seems that he has a terrific mental approach which I am sure is very calming and reassuring to the team!
I know some are anti the 1-game Wild Card playoff. But I like it. I mean, this is the "Wild Card" game, not the divisional playoffs... There should be a penalty for finishing 2nd, or 3rd in the case of the Rockies who finished 17 games behind first place and still made the playoffs!!

Man I hope Greinke shows up tomorrow night!! Our bats need to be there as well - which concerns me as John Gray has generally had his way with us. It would be a bummer for our post season to be a one & done deal. However, keepin it real here, we lost 93 games last year... and this year we won 93! That in and of itself is an amazing accomplishment! Yes, I want to see the Dbacks go deep into the post season and NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING would please me more than to see our guys beat LA...in LA! But gotta get past an amazing offense in the Rockies...

Playoff baseball is a different animal. Some excel, some not so much. I think Greinke has close to 10 playoff starts and Gray has zero (I think). I'll take Greinke's experience all night long. Go !!!!!
