Sort of surprises me. When you look at who was available to us when we drafted from the 3rd round on, compared to who we seemed to reach for, it is very confusing. This draft will really determine in the long run what I end up thinking about the Cardinal "administration". Hopefully they will prove to be genius with it. But hard to think of that now when they twice drafted 2 similar players at same position.

Didn't care much for this draft. The DE from NC I think will be the best player for us in this draft. Taking a SS and a blocking TE in the first two rounds is not very exciting. Taking John Brown in the third and then another receiver in the sixth were head scratchers.

I'll give this draft a C, otherwise known as: meh...

A little indifferent and will wait and see, though I think Logan Thomas could develop nicely under BA.

Does Arians have a long history of developing QBs that can't his the broad side of a barn? I really don't think he does?

I've been thinking along those lines. What QB has BA or Tom Moore developed that wasn't close to a sure thing?

Since when was Big Ben a sure thing coming out of a mid level college? He had some holes in his game

He still does. What has he won since the vaunted Steeler defense got old?

He was a surefire first round pick # 11 overall whom was thought highly of by most coming out of college who had nowhere near LT like accuracy issues. Furthermore Roethlisberger was almost a finished product by the time Arians got his hands on him already tutored by one Ken Whisnehhunt and an impressive SB victory under his belt. So saying he mentored or turned him into anything is quite laughable.

Arians was there for his rookie year and he didn't get to a pro bowl until arians was an OC.

Umm yea he was. As the WRs coach FYI. You're really not helping your case.

His 1st pro bowl was 07 Arians first year as OC FYI and surprisingly it was better than any year he had under whiz go figure.

And? Again he was a flat out stud who performed at a level high enough to get a Lombardi trophy... Of course he got better as he matured (nfl wise) some more. Go figure. That's pretty normal.

So really do you have any examples of Arians developing a player like LT????

If you look at the stats he almost doubled his TDs and lowered his INT once arians took over.

That's good. But to say BA developed BR as the evidence that BA and Tom Moore have developed QBs like Logan Thomas is a stretch. BR was a proven commodity by the time BA got his hands on him.

It was a genuine question on my part. Arians and Moore have coached in this league for a long time. I'd love to know if they have actually developed any mid tier QB talent (or simply non elite level talent). They are commonly refereed to as QB gurus.

He couldn't fix Tim Couch or Kelly Holcomb when he was OC for the Browns for 3 years??? :doi:

That all I got?

Wow a flat out stud who wasn't picked in the top 10 huh? You should go back and read his draft analysis. Read this scouting report from SI. Love the part about great character.

We are talking about the Steelers QB who threw 5 interceptions in his first two playoff games and was 9-21 with 2 picks in his first SB right? The guy who threw 23 interceptions his 3rd year in the NFL? Then Arians shows up and he throws for 32 TDs and only 11 picks the next season.
