Sure... but who wants a mediocre QB?There are 8 mediocre QBs in this draft. One could be had cheap.

Sure... but who wants a mediocre QB?
As soon as I heard the news, flash bulbs started going off in my head about his possibly coming here, followed by second thoughts. Still, I'm intrigued. Here's what I'm thinking:
1. Chow is given credit for developing Leinart. Wouldn't his presence here as QB coach be a net-plus and speed up Matt's development?
2. Chow figured to be a better fit coaching a passer like Leinart than a run-pass guy like Vince Young.
3. The more qualified senior guys you have on your coaching staff, the better.
4. We've already got Todd Haley (with Kurt Warner present as sort of a quasi-QB coach).
5. Would Norm accept what would be tantamount to a demotion if he became QB coach?
6. Then again, the lifestyle in the Valley isn't too shabby.
7. Adding Chow would give us three guys under Wiz - who competed for the head coaching job here. Is there the danger that career-ambition might lead to a bit of bureaucratic backbiting? Or could everyone happily play in the same sandbox?
8. So OK, maybe not QB coach. But how about bringing him in as a Sid Gillman type "consultant" to help Matt?
I don't think Chow or Cameron would come here. They realize that it's Whiz's offense. They are going to want to run their offense. Besides, i don't want either of them anyway.I will add number 9 for you Jeff.
Bill Bidwill and Norm Chow are good friends. I think it is a perfect fit. I also like the idea that Cam Cameron is aviable also.
If he's still around, i would like to see Chad Henne in 4th round go to the Cards.Backup, insurance with time to develop. Mediocre was a poor choice of words.
Henne could drop to the 4th, his stock is slipping.
Whoa, slow down there Inspector Clouseau. How do you deduce this? Have you spoken with any GMs?
How can a guy's stock be slipping when nobody is doing any evaluating right now? No combine. No pro days at any school. No private workouts.
If "experts" like McShay or The War Room or any other paid self-appointed evaluators have said or written that anywhere, please share with us the source(s) of this wisdom.
And if any clown has been stupid enough to start dropping Henne's stock, from heights unknown or assumed, based on zero new info, it would be wise to discount anything that clown claims.

Maybe, but based on what? His awesome game against Florida?
January is the goofiest month for draft evaluation. Players really have no reason to rise or fall between now and the combine. This is the time of year when Cutler went from a second round pick to being right there, or even ahead of, Leinart and Young. Those guys had played well in one of the great games in college history while Cutler had done nothing for two months. Crazy.
A bum throwing shoulder and a statue in the pocket.
Which everybody knew in November. So, that shouldn't cause him to drop. If anything, his stock should've gone up a bit with the way he lit up the Gators.
