It's Robert Eggers. Curious what you thought it would be.Oh, I thought I commented on this one already. I went to an advanced screening the day before Christmas Eve. I wasn't planning on paying to go, but free is free. I won't make the "It was free but I wanted my money back" joke, as it wasn't hideously bad, but it wasn't great either. Without Willem Defoe, yes, it would be very bad. A visual feast with good acting, and a nice message against the stigmatization of mental health issues, but otherwise a complete bore.
Acting was decent. Visuals were good. But the sound(especially Nosferatu) was awful and the story was so damn boring. I felt like I was in the theater for 5 hours. It just dragged on in horrible fashion.Oh, I thought I commented on this one already. I went to an advanced screening the day before Christmas Eve. I don't follow his career. As it was free, I didn't have expectations. Looking back, all I've seen of his was Northman, which was hot garbage. It's Robert Eggers. Curious what you thought it would be.
