Disappointed in the coaching on both sides of the ball.

Not enough adjustments to slow down the pass rush that hounded and hurried Palmer all game. After 1st series he was very ineffective. The book is written on how to game plan for the Cardinals. Pressure, pressure, pressure. They better get more consistent Line play. Or at least more help.

Not enough sense of urgency on the D to take away Jimmy Graham or at least slow him down. Playing Peterson on him was the way to go early. They didn't adjust to it until the 4th Qtr! Unacceptable.

Palmer was hounded and harassed all day. When they did keep someone in to help Levi, that took away palmers security blanket and his throws were usually incomplete

It wasn't only Levi though. Winston struggled most of the game against Cameron Jordan who had a huge game.

If this is the best they can muster it's going to be a looooonnnnngggg season.

I didn't see enough help from the RB's trying to help out either. If they truly want to take shots down field they're going to have to find a way to hold up. It's not cutting it right now.

This had a helluva lot more to do with just no adjustments.

Should have run the ball much more often when we were still in the game. We averaged 5.4 YPC and had a whopping 16 carries even though we were in this game until the 4th quarter.

****ty play. crappy players. poor coaching in general.

Sounds like a normal Sunday for the Arizona Cardinals.

If this keeps up I'll have to admit that I was wrong about Grimm. It's just an institutional problem when it comes to the Cardinals offensive line.

Thought they gave up on the run too early.

Palmer is far better with play action.

The Cards have now allowed 919 yards passing. That projects to almost 5000 yards for the season!

The thing that bothers me is that two weeks in a row they've let the opponent's #1 offensive weapon have big days. (Of course that is a change, we used to let the opponents least known offensive weapon have career days.) That seems to me to indicate poor game plans and poor adjustments.

Or it could be that, as was expected, having that many new players in the secondary was going to be a real problem.

Having that many crappy players in the secondary appears to be a problem as well.

To some extent. Johnson, Powers and Bell for instance. But I really don't think Jefferson and Honey Badger are crappy players. Just rookies.

And of course it's always a good idea to have your 32 year old ILB covering Marques Colston and a 5'9" rookie on the Saints 6'7" Tight End. That's like having Spud Webb guard Manute Bol.

Having Bell and Mathieu covering the best QB - TE combo in the league one on one is unacceptable. Bowles needs to re-evaluate what he's trying to do. First you take away their best player and biggest threat. That guy wasn't Sproles. He's good but he does most of his damage in front of the D. The keys had to be Graham and Colston, imo.

They should have been playing with 6 DB's just about the entire game. The Aint's showed NO propensity for the run - None whatsoever.

I was questioning the same thing throughout this game. We played a lot of dime against Detroit and it worked quite well so why not do that against the Saints?

Not in the first one. Spud blocked his shot. :p

Staged photos don't count. Only game action. :p

Did you hear the one about Manute Bol getting arrested for obtaining credit at stores by claiming he was Donny Osmond?

I like Heath Evans calling the games. The guy seems to know what he's talking about, having played the game and having a spot on the NFL Network.

Anyway Evans was calling Bowles out the entire game for leaving Bell to cover Graham one on one. Especially when they got down to the red zone. He kept looking for that matchup. "Let's see is Bell matched up on Graham again. Yup. Well this should be a touchdown." Sure enough, it happened. I think on that play, Graham dropped the ball or something like that, but should have been a td. But then the next play, the same thing happened and it was a td.

Evans also talked about why we could look so good on the first drive then suck it up the rest of the game. He said that first drives are usually scripted, then the rest is mainly on the players. So the fact that we scored so easily that first drive is a testament to how great BA is at scripting drives. I thought that was interesting.

How many 3rd downs did the Saints convert? How many did we convert?

That's the game right there...

I have to disagree, he had his nose up NO butt all game. Every play was great this great that for NO. There was no great plays or even good plays for the Cards. I know there weren't many for them but he seamed to say every play for NO was GREAT.
