I would say a golden rule is wait until 20 games have been played and then from there make an early decision on the teams capabilities or weaknesses.

It is too early right now, but it is great to have these wins already which will help later on in the season when this team tries to stay a top 4 seed, if possible.

+1

Great wins and it will only help the Suns in the long run to pile up wins now. However, agreed.....way too early right now to judge this team.

It is a bit silly that you continuously defend your position by submitting the Orlando game as evidence of our shortcomings, yet completely disregard the Boston game. It is an obvious contradiction.

Hypothetically, if we get the 4th seed in the playoffs and get it by only a couple games, won't these early season wins be just as important?

I agree that it is too early to proclaim us as turning the corner, but I don't buy that a win in November is meaningless. A win is a win, regardless of when it occurs. We'll be happy we were 7-1 if our playoff position is determined by only a few games.

Yes, yes yes. I remember in years past having rough starts and then improving late, only to wish that we had been a little sharper at the beginning of the season.

A regular season win is a win. Yes, the playoffs matter more, but they can only matter if you are playing.

When your trying to get into the playoffs no win is meaningless period. You get what you can get no matter who you play. At the end of the day that Win column doesn't have any prejudice about quality of wins.
