Is it not unusual for an OL to be taken early in first round? This year may be different but over the long run I have read they tend to go in later rounds?

It's unusual for an OG but not for a LT.

Also, forget about patterns of drafting certain positions and focus on the player who (regardless of position) can help your team the most.

The best way to draft. Forget about reaching. If the guy you want is there take him.
