-Bronco Fans were, for the most part, very accomodating. Not many Cards fans there at all. Not surprising, but somewhat disappointing. I think I only saw three or four others.
-Sat next to a guy that played TE for Dick Vermiel at UCLA
-Josh McCown gave me his wrist band and said, "Give it to a Cards fan." (what am I?)
-My wife has a crush on Neil Rackers. And, if he continues to boom thye ball out of the endzone on kickoffs and nail his FGs, I'm okay with that.
-Met a guy named Roger at the gate that works for the Cards. Nice guy.
-Met Wragge. My wife said, "hey, can you sign his hat?" What was I supposed to do? I didn't really want Wragge's sig messing up my new hat, but I think I did the right thing by giving it to him anyway.
-Pictures to come later this morning.

McCown coming over to hand me the wristband (crappy pic), Rackers, A. Smith, and an unknown cardinal...who is that?

hey pariah, i was one of 7 card fans i saw there. i had a bet with my wife that there would be 10 - so i lost :( i saw an older guy in a vanden bosch jersey and wadsworth jersey and said hi. we sat upper deck and got teased pretty good. it was a blast seeing the cards!

rackers is the MAN! mile high or not - 57 yards! and those kickoffs!
seeing hambrick bulldoze that guy over on 3rd and 1. well worth it.
mccown needs help. as in boldin, fitz, and bj
larry croom looked spry. i like his jukes and spins.
i really think shaun king will start by week 5. he just looks better back there and plays well.
our d line is not good. let's face it. but it was nice to see pace make that sack.
beating up the broncos is always good. i don't care if it was their JV squad or not.
and seeing van pelt run the td was worth the price of admission.

I like that scoreboard. Thats nice. How is Invesco Pariah? Nice stadium?
Invesco is pretty great. The only problem withit is that it's always full of Bronco fans.

I've had the chance a couple of times to get into the luxury boxes--wow. Pretty spectacular stuff.

The only heckling I received was from a drunk guy when we were walking in, and some guy threw a peanut at me around halftime (to which I just said, "really?" and he sheepishly shrugged his shoulders).

King does look pretty good, but I don't think he'll unseat McCown unless it's due to injury.

Also, one other thing I noticed (contrary to reports from some posters here) is that the sideline looked really loose from start to finish. Emmitt came off the field after the first play laughing and joking, and that was pretty indicative of the entire bench.

Good job brother Pariah-

Your boy looks like a player.

Good job on the wife too.
Thanks. Ben's not even 1 year old, yet. He might be a player--he's a big kid.

Great pics, but what about this quote:

Josh McCown gave me his wrist band and said, "Give it to a Cards fan." (what am I?)

If you were wearing your jersey, didn't he know you were a Cardinals fan? Josh didn't look as good as last game, but Shawn King looked great.

I'm ashamed to admit that I live in the Denver area, and was so flippin' busy that I didn't even find out the score of the game until I woke up this morning.

May I be flogged severly about the head and shoulders.

Good deal Pariah! As a Philly Cards fan, I can appreciate going into your "home" team's stadium and kicking their butts. Preseason or not. Especially if you hate the Broncs like I hate the eagles. Way to represent bro!
