I don't believe it. And as professional athletes and coaches that had better not be our attitude to these last two games.

What do we have to play for?

A winning record. That means something.

Two division games. Those mean something.

Show some pride. Go down swinging. Don't roll over.

lambs are playing for the playoffs - zero percent chance we win that game

the whiners is now our loser de facto super bowl which might as well be a blow hole if we win - drafting in the late teens again

The Niners looked toothless yesterday. They're just so shell-shocked from being in last place that I believe it's carrying over to their play. Not scared of those bums at all. Now the Rams? Oh Lord, get the Maalox ready.

Agree!

You don't think the Rams remember us running them off the field in week two? Embarrassing them?

They'll have murder in their eyes coming out of tunnel this Saturday.

Better draft position. If the FO can take advantage and not screw up the draft like they usually do, lol.
We are not going to be near number 3 or 4 like the last two years. I don't believe 12 v 18 matters very much. We will probably split these last two, just to extra piss people off.

I suspect that the Rams will smoke them but that they will beat a decimated 49ers team to end the season. So, an 8-9 record will eclipse by 2 wins my preseason prediction of 6 wins. So, better than I expected and the season pretty much ending up as I expected.

I will laugh at any assertion that this season was an improvement over last season so there is hope that next will be any different. I have learned to NEVER smoke the hopium regarding this franchise. The reason I am still a fan is that they have ARIZONA in their name. If they moved to Timbuctoo, no wishing such luck on Timbuctoo, I would not root for the Timbuctoo Cardinals.

There is absolutely nothing to play for the last 2 games which, has been said, is why they might win them both with Murray looking like Johnny U (because, he's one of my favorites of all time) and MHJ looking like Jerry Rice...wait, what am I saying????!!!! Not...gonna...happen... LOL

Happy Holidays to you all. Cheer up, the offseason is coming along with all the mock drafts, arguments about who the picks should be, etc., etc.

I'd rather beat the Rams than move up a couple places in the draft. Moving from 16 to 14 means little versus winning a division game. It isn't like moving from 5 to 4.

I would actually like to see Tune get the start at QB in week 18 against the Niners. Would like to see if he made any progress and it would be a meaningless game for both teams with no impact on playoff positioning, so why not see what you have going into 2025.

I have paid good money for that game. The last thing I want to see is a preseason game. I don't want to watch SOB Niners fans celebrating like I had to suffer taunting from the Hags fans after the last game last year. That game meant nothing for the playoffs but I hated losing it.

This was my lowest expectation for the games after the Carolina game. Clearly, they prepared and played really hard like professional athletes. Had they rolled over on Gannon and lost 48-7 that would have been a very bad sign.

I expect a similar type game next week. I am leaning towards us winning it, but I really don't care.

They are professionals. A lot of these guys should be playing for their jobs and roster spots next year.

There’s no point for Conner to play since he just signed a deal. I remember David Johnson hurting his knee in a final meaningless game in the colosseum and never being the same. Be smart Gannon.

I agree. Shut him down and let Carter get the rock in the last game. Love the way this kid runs, always have. It will be an interesting call as to whether they try to keep him or if he is auditioning for another team. Keeping Carter means committing to put him on the active roster and not Demercado.

After last night it's a no brainer to keep him

He showed some flashes and was hitting the hole quick and ran hard

This is at least one small positive that can be taken from the game. I am still concerned by the amount and impact of penalties in recent weeks, though.

It’s a complete collapse of discipline by this team after the bye.

One of the more concerning things about JGs leadership down the stretch.

It signals a lack of focus that has infected the whole team.

this 100%. If this wasn’t a home game, then I might care less. But we paid for it and we are coming to represent. Hopefully the team has some pride and does the same for the fans.
