Just my opinion.
That's actually a real problem, he's never been a really accurate passer and on a team where 2 of your primary WRs, Gilmore and Johnson, drop so many balls, that's a huge problem. Not only can you not depend on them to catch the good throws, you can't rely too much on them salvaging some of your bad throws.
Bottom line is Blake has to stop making the throws in bad situations, that first pick Sunday was just a bad play all around, throw it away. The 2nd one was not a big deal he was just trying to score coming from behind every QB in the NFL gets picked at times doing that, but the first one was totally on Jeff.
I said this all during the preseason people expecting a great QB are going to be disappointed, he's a good veteran QB but he's not a 60% guy he's a hot and cold player, always has been. My hope was he'd protect the ball better than Jake did, so far he hasn't and after the last 6 years that's the last thing any of us wanted from a veteran QB.
I'd rather have Jake's less than 300 yards passing in the last 2 games, but only 1 pick, than Blake's over 400 yards passing but 4 picks and the fumble. Gotta protect the ball.
