One too many cheeseburgers, I guess. I'm in a hospital room in downtown Charleston hooked up to an IV. Heart/bypass operation scheduled for Mon. sometime. (The day AFTER we BEAT NE!

Just feel like the old "car" needs a few "parts" fixed up so I can finish strong the last 15-20 years of my life.

Anyways, though I've never met any of you I still consider all of you "family."

Been through this kind of surgery before. It's been 8 years and I feel great. Had to change what I eat and lose weight but I am alive and that's a good trade off. The best thing to do is to stay positive while you heal. According to my doctors that's the key to healing quickly.
