Len gets knocked to the floor and comes up mad. Denver with a flagrant 1.

I like Len's attitude. He needs to dial it down a bit, but I like it. The Suns need an enforcer, and Plumlee is just too damn nice.

When Len learns the game, I don't think anyone is going to think of him as a soft 7 footer.

Plumlee seems disengaged.

Barbosa is so physically gifted, it hard to understand why he did not become a star. I do believe he won the 6th man award one season.

I really liked how Hornacek stayed with the bench in the 4th. Of course, it's easier to do that when they're getting it done but it's great to reward those guys for playing hard and getting some rest for the starters.

Agree. Don't mess with a good thing.

I've always been a fan of Barbosa, however I think he was a huge acquisition for the Suns with Bledsoe out. The Suns need to sign him for the rest of the season. It is becoming more and more clear, the Suns are at their best with two ball handlers on the court at one time.

And it's not because of the schedule. The Suns are off 'til Wednesday. It will be a late game -- 8:30 for ESPN.

It is good to see our team play its bench as a luxury rather than a necessity. The Smith-to-Len dish/swish was looking pretty good.

I agree, Barbosa should be in for the long haul. Beyond just another ball handler, Leandro, like Bledsoe, is VERY aggressive at driving and putting pressure on the defense and he's a much better finisher than Ish.

I was worried Barbosa would show some effects of the ACL injury but so far he looks like the Barbosa of old, minus the jumpshot. Hopefully that comes in time.

Enjoyed seeing extended Len minutes. I like that he keeps the ball up high when he gets it, and his length and aggressiveness led to a couple extra offensive possessions.

Ish plays well with Barbosa. I like that we are finally going 5 deep into the rotation. All season long Horncaek has said that he doesn't like going 5 deep cause its too much but I'm glad he realized that our starters need the rest.

Dragic must be super happy right now.....just 24 mins today...he FINALLY gets a break. He finally got some damn help.

Frye played well and surprise surprise, HE DIDN'T RELY ON 3pters for all or even most his pts! If he can be aggressive like this consistently and attack the rim even if it results in less than 30 pts or more missed shots, it would do wonders for this team. He just can't go back to chucking 3s all game next game but knowing Frye history, I have a feeling he will.

Tucker remains one of the worst shooters even when left open and is still struggling so much with his shot. Nuggets became just another team that did not respect his shot and he showed them why.

Green did what he had to do. Markieff played very well again and Marcus wasn't too shabby either. Barbosa is getting better as he gets more comfortable. Once he practices more with the team and learns guys tendencies then he can start playmaking a little more as well.

Len is really improving a lot through these games. He's finding ways to score even without having plays drawn up for him. I would like to see us go to him in the post more often so he can develop his post game. He is taller than most other NBA players so that's a big (no pun intended) advantage.

Good win and most importantly, a much needed win imo.

Solid win from start to finish for a change. I too enjoyed the extended Len minutes today. Easily his best as a Sun.

I chuckled as Albert kept saying Len has a "fuse" on him. Steve, I believe the phrase you're looking for is "short fuse". All bombs have a fuse. It's the one's with a short fuse that go off easily.

That's because he has a brain on him . . . a short brain. :D

After laying off the self-deprecating jokes for awhile, Albert is back to insulting himself on the air for a laugh, when he should be calling the play.

And when Annie interrupts him to focus on the game, he doesn't give up until he gets his boring joke in.

It is difficult to respect him when he doesn't respect himself. But, hey, he's part of the New York Albert announcing family, so let's bring him to Phoenix. Ugh!

Why do you say that? Other than having to cater to a butt-hole play-by-play announcer.

I wonder if Tom Leander has ever said to the chiefs upstairs, "You removed me for him?" Leander sounds more like the guy next door, but I found him pleasing to listen to and he knew what was going on out on the court.

Every play-by-play announcer has to come up with catch phrases or be bland.

As far as Annie, she is knowledgeable, she has contacts (being in the Front Office) and I trust her judgement and presentation.

35 years ago, I didn't like Al McCoy trying to put one over on the fans with his, "Looks good (pause, pause, pause), is good!" When he started doing radio/TV simulcasts, we saw that he didn't say, "Looks good!" until after the shot went in.

But Al turned honest with the fans over the years and became a legend. I appreciate that.

Yea I didn't mind Tom Leander either. I actually liked his "Elevates and detonates" catch phrase after poster dunks even though I know many don't feel the same way.

It was so sweet when he said it vs GSW after Amare destroyed and took Anthony Tolliver's soul.

Edit: here's the clip of that dunk. One of the best plays in Suns franchise history and in NBA history.

It's too bad about Amare's health issues. The Suns had found a legitimate, exciting star in Amare.

It's ironic, but one of my best remembered moments is a defensive play when Amare blocked Brad Miller's shot at the rim at the buzzer.
