Yea for all the talk about how bad his defense and rebounding were, his D and rebounding were both pretty good when the game was actually on the line. Because he actually paid attention then.
Paying attention was the only thing that made him a bad defender and not so great rebounder cause he definitely had the size and athleticism to do both.
I am still mad about Gentry didn't leave Amare in the game in game 5 of the 2010 WCFs when Artest had the putback at the buzzer. I think there's a good chance that Amare would have either got the rebound or contested the shot extremely well on that final play.
