This is how they won most of their games in the regular season. Step on the gas in the second half. Depth.

I don't know if depth was really that big. Others stepped up other than Booker but the starters has 99 points on their own. They all brought on their A game.

Defense in the second half was way better. That’s why we won.

Porter started hot but disappeared in the 2nd half.

The Nuggets CANNOT rely in Aaron Gordon to score 20 per in this series.

Gordon was better than expected especially defensively but he is not a 20 ppg scorer.

So the big takeaway for me is that the Suns played pretty flat for most of three quarters and then turned it up at the end like killers.

And Denver played pretty much as good as they possibly can, as far as I could see. It's going to be tough for them unless Phoenix does something to kill themselves.
We do have a tendency to do that sometimes.

I have a feeling this game felt like a bit of release for some of the guys after having faced the #1 D in the first round.

I cannot imagine that Denver shoots that well from 3 for the entire series.

And they still lost by almost 20.

Was the arena at full capacity or close to it ? Looked and felt good !

They're close to it. They're allowing 16,000 last I heard. I believe a sellout is somewhere around 18000 after the renovation.

Edit - ESPN says max cap is 18,055 and the attendance was 16,219. That's 90% capacity

I don’t understand why everyone is surprised at Gordon’s d. When we lost to the magic they put Gordon on book too.

Gordon moved better than expected and I was paying particular attention to the match-up.
