Not bad.

However, Williams has not been playing lately.
The center rotation has been Voskul and White with McDyess getting some time there since the trade as well.

Another hopeful contributor is Zarko Carbarkaba who is just back from injury.

Should be a good game to watch / listen to.

At least you showed up before the game this time. ;)

Yes, Barbosa is starting for now! Amare actually came off the bench his first game back and dice started...

I think Stoudemire, Voskul, and Marion in the FC with Barbosa and Johnson the starting guards. That is what I heard anyway

I think this is a very dangerous game for the Nuggets--a young team that shows up overconfident for a road game is asking for trouble, and that's probably what's going to happen tonight.

The Nuggets are the better team, but the Suns have Amare, and they're unpredictable. Look for McDyess to have a good game--he'll be auditioning for his favorite team. ;)

My prediction--Suns 98, Nuggets 97, on a back-door play at the buzzer...

He has some sort of magic formula against overconfidence that the rest of the league's coaches don't have access to?

Hmm...you never know...let's check the Nuggets' schedule:

Jan 11 @Sac L 106-117
Jan 13 @Pho
Jan 14 @LAL

Jan 2 @Por W 106-96
Jan 3 Atl L 76-84
Jan 5 SA L 74-98

What could I possibly have been thinking?

so basically your logic revolves around single games. anyone who has ever lost to a bad team can be guilty of this exact same accusation. yeah, great logic!

so if we lose, im glad to know its that we beat ourselves and it had nothing to do with the suns.

bzdelik always keeps his teams prepared and ready for the upcoming game. hes obsessive like that.

Not "single games"--situations, as you should already have realized.

The Nuggets have an 'easy' game bracketed by two 'tough' games. What did they do the last time (and the only other time) they were in this situation? they lost to the worst team in the league, despite having one of the largest home-court advantages in the league.

Apparently Bdzelik was on holiday that week--or maybe he can only exert so much influence over his players, eh?

Why do you think the line is only 1.5, then? Do you think Suns fans are betting it up? Of course not--it's obviously a trap line, and the trap is being set for people who think like you do...

If you're here to talk but not think, go to the smack forum.

My 16 year old son and I are going to this game together tonight. It was a birthday present from one of his friends and he's taking the old man.

I am really looking forward to this game. There is going to be alot of young talent on the floor. I finally get to see Barbosa with extended minutes.

Barbosa
Amare
JJ
Zarko
Carmelo
Nene

and I even get a look at Dice.

This is going to be fun.

we'll be 19 rows up at the half court line.

I have tickets to the game as well, should be a lot of fun. I am really interested to see how Barbosa plays with Amare, if JJ can keep it up, and how well they will feed the post.

I have a question for you NugzFan.

Your post on the Nuggets board states the game is on NBALP, but one of the following posts say "too bad it won't be televised".

Since the Avalanch game is on FSRM, will NBALP brodacast the game in the blacked out market area (Denver & surrounding cities)?

I get the NBALP out of Colorado so I will know the answer tonight but the people at DirecTV didn't know the answer. Some type of mumbo-jumbo due to the NBA rules depending on who has the TV rights. Most of the time when the Nuggets are blacked out on NBALP (for Colorado) the game is shown on FSRM (but not always)

Should be a good game - I hope I get to watch.

it wont be on local tv (which is fine for me since i dont live in coloroad) but itll be on leaguepass (meaning the suns broadcast) which is good for me since i have league pass! :)

so i cant specifically answer your question but i do know local games for me (lakers, clippers) are blocked out on league pass.

Ok, one more question. Are the Lakers & Clippers blacked out on NBALP when they are on the road?

Sometime they black the Nuggets out when the're on the road and I don't understand why. Maybe it's because FSRM has the rights and that sucks if FSRM shows a Avs game... Especially since I don't gdt FSAZ.

Voshkul is not in uniform tonight because his wife got a baby 1 month earlier than thought, but healthy.

Harvey will start instead of Voshkul. Weird decision in my opinion.

Both my teams are playing.... This should be fun. I'll begin with GO SUNS:fans:

We look terrible. 2 fouls on Amare' in the first 3 minutes? Denver already has 3 blocks. :(
