I'm afraid it will be very tough. Not that we shouldn't win it if we play like we're capable of playing, but I'm afraid of a BIG letdown. Can DG get the team up for a bottom of the barrell team, like he got them up for a team on top of the heap? Reminds me of the SF game, where on defense we played our poorest game, partly, I'm sure, because we were overconfident. A big win will give the team a ton of momentum(see Monday night's game wasn't a fluke), but as the Cardinals showed on Monday night there is not a great deal of difference in talent between the perceived haves and have nots, and the game often comes down to attitude. As the ad says, "is it in you?".

My concerns with the game are these:

1. Randy Moss: If he gets involved early, he could really torch Rolle and/or Green.
2. Oakland is a cornered animal, and desperate for a win...at home. When was the last time we won a roadie (within the United States, that is)?
3. New Offense: Yeah, I know it's not technically a new offense, but it sounds like we'll may as well. I'm not worried about this in the long-run, but right out of the shoot I'm worried it might be a problem. Oakland's D isn't bad...it's their offense that's been the problem.

Things to watch for, Oakland does not have a healthy RB. Fargas will apparently play but has a shoulder injury and is questionable. Jordan has a sore back and missed quite a bit of practice all week but will start.

Looks like Fabian Washington will start, he's their best cover CB it will be interesting to see how Oakland plays Anquan. Washington is one of those poor man's Darrell Green type CB's very small but quick and fast, Boldin will kill him after the catch with his power, but he may bother Anquan in coverage. He's so quick and fast he doesn't usually give big cushions, we may have to attack him downfield to keep him honest.

Oakland's defense is much better than their offense. The key to the game is take advantage of their weak OT's, get pressure because Walter has shown he's very green and will absolutely just throw the ball up for grabs at times. He also has had fumble issues, but he has a very strong arm if you give him time he can get the ball downfield, Rolle and Green MUST be careful not to get careless on Moss.

Their KO coverage stinks, beware Chris Carr on returns, very dangerous guy, a bit reckless but very dangerous.

Oakland is ranked #1 in pass defense.

They are ranked #12 at running the ball.

If the Raiders can stop our passing game and stall our offense, then control the clock by running the ball this game may be closer than we all think.

Football is a very simple game. Control the clock and don't turn over the pigskin. Against a team like this years Raiders if they can get an early lead like they have been, the Raiders will fold and close up shop early this Sunday. On the other hand if we give them easy points via turn overs IE; Bears game, they will stay in the game and have a good chance in beating us.

Really, so if we have the ball for 40 minutes, and they only have it for 20, and we get a +4 on the turnover margin we will win right? Ahhh if only it were this easy.

This past weeks game was a Alfred Hitchcock movie. I would say Jason, that in most cases when two touchdowns are scored in the 4th quarter off of TO's (not the wide reciever) and a kick run back that is a bit weird(Cards play). Our defense was awesome and if they have the chance they will help win this game , but if they are watching from the sidelines and the offense or speciasl teams is giving points we have no chance at all. In most cases I should have said if you control the clock and Don't turn the ball over you have a better chance of going home with a win.

Randy Moss is mailing it in right now. I've watched every Raiders game this year, and he's just not into it. In fact, I'd say the majority of the team seems to be acting this way.

I'll be at the game Sunday!

He has been mailing it in, but if he decides to turn it on, watch out. He's still a phenom.

i believe the cardinals can get short passes and turn them into long gains. how are they ranked againist the run. ask yourself why are the raiders 0-6 and only been in one close game so far this season. that is because the raiders offense is ranked 32nd in the league. they are the worst offense in the league. don't let rankings fool you. i am sure the raidiers dc is going to want some revenge for his old man. i don't see that happening. the cardinals might not be able to get the long ball, but they will be able to get short passes turned into long gains. i expect edgerrin james to have a big game againist the raidiers. the raidiers also failed to pick up the blitz. the raidiers have a worst offensive line than the cardinals. at least leinart has time to pass the ball. i expect another big game out of the cardinals defense. so no worries here.

Yep Moss has personally caused at least 4 INT's this year by just not going after the throw.

He was running hard against Bailey in the national tv game but my guess is he probably won't for this game he won't care.

Where did the Bears rank?

I'm not so sure about that. After all, Green is on the other sideline.

True, and maybe he knows Fitz will be there and wants to set a good example.

I think we have 2 very motivated guys, Leinart because the Raiders didn't pick him, and Green because the Raiders didn't hire him.
