Well, if the powers that be are convinced he won't fit the team dynamic then fine, that's a solid reason to pass (no pun intended). But the concept that "receivers are a dime a dozen so don't spend money on them" is a losing strategy IMO.
We have the #2 WR of all time and I’d argue #1 if he had QBs like Montana, Young, and Gannon his entire career. WRs don’t win SBs.

:) What an odd selection of QB's you chose to illustrate your point. Montana? Sure. Young? I get it. Gannon? A journeyman QB, on his 4th team before seeing any success and really just 4 years of good production in his career. Gannon at his best and in the perfect situation was really good but his name just doesn't ring quite the same as Unitas, Marino, etc.

Just give the first round and second round picks this year and sign Odell to long term deal. There is no better WR (Antonio Brown not counting) in entire NFL besides Odell. JUST DO IT!

Yes. I've been hypnotized.

Me too
It will cost our number 1 at least

Keim will F up that pick anyway.

Look at it like this Reddick and Brandon Williams or Troy Niklaus for Beckham? Keim suck and Cards need a 1 WR. Anyone not on board is just being silly. Chad Willliams and Nelson are not gonna be world beaters lol

The picks Keim will take wont even equal 1/4 of what OBJ brings

Super tired of the argument that we may as well disregard the value of 1st round picks because "Keim sucks."

Not that I don't want Odell, but the guy is the 5th winningest GM in the past 5 years and everyone's casually ignoring the fact that Arians constantly sat late 1st round rookies while berating them, which isn't Keim's fault.

and you are ignoring that when those redshirted rookies finally got on the field...they still sucked ass.

keim is a great drafter in the mid rounds but his first round picks suck canal water on a fairly consistent basis..... I think Reddick is probably the best one he has drafted so far

Reddick has only one year under his belt and played in a position we didn't draft him to play. That's still up in the air.

Humphries has played pretty well and may be our LT of the future, but injury has been an issue. He really stepped up after year one though, where it looked like a waste, but we went with BPA regardless of need in that draft. As it stands today, there isn't anyone we would have drafted there before our next pick that we desperately missed out on. We weren't drafting Collins or Shaq Thompson.

No excuses for Nkemdiche yet.

I hated the DBuc pick at the time, but he wasn't redshirted and has been a solid contributor here. It's not his fault Daryl Washington screwed the team. Sure, Carr could have been the pick there, but we'd just gotten Carson.

I dunno, I just don't hate Keim's first rounders as much as you do. 2013 was an awful top 10, and 2014 is the only year we missed out on some good players between our next pick - even though DBuc isn't bad. The rest, it looks like the players just weren't very good where we were picking.

That is what we are offering? I would think they would take Brandon Williams since TN is no longer under contract, just a hunch. I love it when people use past picks to predict the future. It makes no since, about as must as my first sentence.
