Im really not fussed about TE targets unless they are RZ. We don't have a Kittle, Kelce YAC guy so I'd rather someone else who might get more yards get the ball.

For the sake of simply spreading it around we need to have some TE targets. At least establish them as a threat to get the ball.

I would say he had some “catches,” not really sure any but one endzone catch was a “moment.”

I disagree. I say 8 is just about perfect. He's the guy you want to go to to move the sticks on 3rd down.

Exactly.

Larry should only get 3 or 4 targets, and that is primarily just to keep his streak going.

I don't think Larry is cooked by any means. I see him open a bunch when I watch games back.

The simple truth is, in the slot they have him running a lot of routes in field and Kyler just isn't very strong there. You could see it on his college heat map. That short to intermediate area behind the LOS is a tough area for him to hit because of his size. Unless a big passing lane opens up in the trenches. It's just basic physics. His release point is a good 8-10" lower than the average QB, it's hard for him to get the ball up and over a 6'5" D lineman with any pace in those short areas. Unless the line breaks up and he has a lane.

I know Larry isn't as quick as he was, but he's not slow slow. Johnson ran a 4.6. I reckon Larry can still challenge him in a foot race. So why not play Larry outside instead of KJ if Kirk is out? He has all the experience to do what KJ can't. Then you can use Isabella more in the slot.

Think that it's natural that because Larry had so few, last week, that he'll probably have his most so far this season. JMO.
