Most impressive win of the preseason by far! Metrodome is one of the toughest places to play in the NFL PERIOD!

ummm what game were you watching?

I will give you that the starting o-lines run blocking was atrocious but other than that this was a good game and McCown looked good!

In fact were you even waching it like me or listening to it???

Slow getting started but did some great pass protection and run blocking for 3 1/2 quarters.

P.s. No line men got hurt today..Thank you,

The first unit on offensive line was weak in the 1st quarter. The resreves were a lot better pm later.
I would't have Leonard Davis start next week. He should be utilized as backup for a brief period until he's in game shape.

The only reason

they scoreda cxouple of times was due to phantom penalties.

Dudes...the last pre-season game, all they wanted to do was get outta there un-injured and the O-Line did that. Not sure about the rest of the guys that got banged up. Now if they never have to play a pre-season game in that hole again, I'd be happy.

Last time I checked a complete football game consisted of 4 .....that's F-O-U-R quarters.

If your keeping score, the only one that counts is the one at the end of the game.

The whole game was fairly close. The Vikes never led for any substantial length of time.

Every time they Scored, The Cards came right back and countered.

Some of you are amazing, simply amazing.

You'd find something to bitch about no matter what......

Tango, you know, you should really chill. All the guys have been saying, and listening to the radio, I really can't deny it, is that our first team O-line wasn't getting push. And they weren't. It's cause for concern. Is it earth-shattering? No. Was our starting O-line even intact? No, we didn't have Davis. Was it a minor red flag that we should watch in the future? Of course! We're fans! We're going to be concerned when something doesn't go right. Everything isn't always peaches and cream!

Last I looked, winning preseason games doesn't mean doodly squat. I enjoy winning them as much as you do. We're 4-0. That's something to be happy about, for the moment, because we may have a few critics rethinking their opinions of us. Does that make any difference as to how our first team plays, or if they can do it in the regular season? Not even a little bit.

4-0 preseasons don't mean anything. We went 4-12 the last time we went 4-0 in preseason. I'm not predicting doom and gloom, nor am I saying we will go 4-12. I'm saying to let these fans voice their opinions. GET OFF YOUR HIGH FRICKIN' HORSE!!! Cripes!

Your incessent insistance that if we win we must have played the game perfectly is just as annoying to us as our *perceived* negativity is annoying to you, dude. Our starting O-line played poorly. Some fans came on here and remarked upon it. Could you let them? Nope. Had to make a smart-azzed remark about it.

As you say, many times, amazing. Simply amazing. And here ya go, the Tango

I don't think our first team line played. Did Kendall, Shelton or Davis play?

Do we even know what our first team line is?

A few plays were stuffed and then Shipp busted a run.

Preseason is preseason. I'm just glad we didn't go 0-4. Imagine it then.

If you have a real opinion about it then decide: Its either meaningless or its not. Or it is kind of both.

I pick its kind of both. I won't start a poll, because I have grown tired of polls.

I'll take wins anyday. To compare to 1991 is rIdiculous, and to compare to any other team from any year is rIdiculous.

Take it for what its worth. 4-0 in Preseason.

I do know what I predict. And it is this: "eotttotiomp".

I agree, King. We can nitpick all we want, we can dissect it, blah blah, but it is, after all, the preseason. I'm more concerned with the lack of playing time our starting O-line has had together than with their play.

I just get tired of Tango's high-and-mighty 'thou canst say nothing against my Cardinals after a victory' attitude. It's boring, irrelevant and, quite honestly, wrong.

I agree. I had a better response but it timed out. I deal with at work constantly not gonna do it at home.

just watched the game..

The O-line 2nd and 3rd string allowed excellent performances for Parsons and all of our running backs. I think we all better re-think who should get cut on Sunday.

What an absolute load of horse manure.
....so you aint predicting no doom an gloom huh? nah, of course not, all your posts the last couple of days have been really positive.

....and whose this WE??? Exactly whom all is this US that you are speaking for?

You are so whacked out on proving whatever it is that your are tryiing to prove.....the only thing I can guess is what a football genius you are trying to prove yourself to be by fault finding with the team...like that makes you smarter than them... or something......Whatever. But like I said, its just a guess. Its whacked whatever it is.

You don't seem to be concerned or bothered much by objective fact. All you do is selectively choose bytes and twist reality around just to prove whatever little theory it is you have tucked away in that closed little mind of yours.

Your totally outrageous statement that I insist the Cards "played the perfect game" is so off base, and whacked its pathetic.
In fact what I do say is that no one ever plays a perfect game. Not even the undefeated Dolphins. Yet you (and a few others) jump on any little less than perfect thing that occurs to prove how screwed up you think the team is.
You know.....What gets tiring is the unceasing negative BS you pervade in regurgitating no matter what the team does. :hammer:

Winning 4 sure beats losing 4. I also think it has to effect the players attitudes and expectations. I also think it effects us as fans and our expectations. Winning can be contageous.

Not that I want to get in the middle of anything here, but Stout is right man, preseason means diddly...sure, if we go out and win 10 games, then maybe we can look back and think about preseason as some premonition for things to come...but what if go out and win 4 games? Then what did it mean?

Nothing.

No one's being negative, it's just realism. Sure, I'm happy as a clam that we're 4-0, it's just nice to be undefeated, even if it is preseason.

But it doesn't mean we're going to stomp the league this year.

Preseason imeans quat but don't you feel better going 4-0 than 0-4 ? It's an illusion, but it is not unplesant. Even the doom and gloom cadre should have a bit more optimism than usual.

Wow Tango, you know, I was ready to come on today, read a spiteful yet at least intelligible post, with some decent points (not ones I'd agree with, but perhaps decent), and respond in kind.

What I get instead is that I'm some crazy nutjob that only wants to feel like a genius by naysaying the Cards. You can't understand WHAT I'm talking about.

I don't know what that makes you, because a few others on the thread do realize what I'm saying, and seem to feel it was well said. *shrug*

I don't even have to give a windy response to the steaming pile of manure that was your last post. You pretty much refuted yourself with it. Good job, bro! The  on me!
