Where did you get he's #3? I'm so excited, best possible situation.

According to ESPN Leinhart was #3 on the Cards chart of best players. He certainly was on mine. He may or not be a great QB in the NFL but it was time to take perhaps the best QB in the draft. We do not get that opportunity once in a decade. I would have been totally shocked if we had not taken him as would have most of you. Congrats to Green and Graves for taking the shot as it your jobs that are on the line.

Sounds like he'll be a force in short yardage situations and will help the ground game. Hopefully he is also good at pass protection.

My hunch just reading his bio is that they might plan to make him the RT.

He's played that before, although he did best at guard, I think it's a great pick but I'm curious as to what now since we just signed a FA guard and last year we drafted one.

I'd have to think they plan on making him the RT.

Coach Dennis Green has said he's committed to getting the best five offensive linemen on the field. His selection will put some pressure on Elton Brown, a fourth-round selection last year.

Well , it's just a hunch. They well could keep him at LG too for the first one or two seasons - depending IF (a big IF) Ross steps it up.

Wells at C or RT?

I think Wells is best suited at C.

M. Brown and Lutui are both maulers, while E. Brown despite his size is a finesse player with very good technique. If any of these guys are moving to RT, then it'll be Elton Brown. No Doubt IMO.

Many gurus are calling it a weak pick. The assumption seems to be that it will be difficult to move to the tackle position.

I'm not sure DG is planning on doing that. We need guards too. If he has to switch position, it is a weak pick, if he can remain at guard, its a decent--not spectacular--pick.
