OL - DL - Coaching staff.

IMO these are the three most important things you need to win.

The draft didn't go the way I thought it would but we addressed our biggest problem. Our defense can be one of the best if we can stop teams on 3rd down. Hopefully Grave, Whiz, and co. know more about football than I do...lol

Iwebema and Keith, slackers with alot of talent.
Hightower and Harrington, hard workers with limited talent.

Can't we draft hard workers with alot of talent  ?

I think it was a solid 7th round pick.

Strengths:
Has excellent size and bulk...Long arms...Excellent athleticism...Is very strong and powerful...Mauling run blocker....Is mobile enough to play out in space and get to the second level...Is stout at the point of attack..Versatile..Still has a lot of upside.

Weaknesses:
Very raw when it comes footwork and technique...Intelligence and awareness are question marks...Too aggressive at times...Limited experience...Didn't play against top competition...Durability may be an issue...Has some major character concerns.

Notes:
Was at Oklahoma in 2003 but quit the team and went to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Junior College in 2004...Was a member of the Sooners football team again in 2005 but did not see action...Missed some time with a knee injury in 2005...A right tackle who could also project to guard at the next level...Chad Rinehart gets more ink but Keith has better physical tools and just might end up being the better pro.

Sorry Cbus but you aren't going to find many of those type of players after the 3rd round. That's why these guys slipped into the later rounds. They have problems.

bg7brd, I like your thinking on many of your posts.

Too many evaluate drafts based on snippets of opinions expressed by people who have seen maybe 15 minutes of video on prospects.

How did we do? I won't know for a while. Clearly, we blanketed the DE and OLB positions, with two of the DEs slated for OLB.

This is the kind of stuff that often happens after a new coach has one year to learn his talent. Darnell Docket and other vets were put on notice today.
