Won't happen. You want to get as much prime-time television as possible. Then on Sunday it needs to be over before 8pm because of Sunday Night Baseball.

10am sucks for me.... 7am must suck even worse!!!! lol

Hey guys.... What do you think.....

I hated the 4pm est start this year.

Maybe a 2pm start on Saturday. That makes it 2pm - 8pm.

Then Sundays Noon - 8pm. Instead of 10am to 6pm.

Doesn't that sound better to all of you?????

The draft definitely needs to start earlier on Saturday and later on Sunday. I had to be ready to watch the draft at 7AM this morning MST. :thud:

Shogun.

They just flashed the Raiders draft picks on the screen and I have to say that I think this may be the worst draft that a team has had in years?

What do you think?
I think this is par the course for the Raiders -all but Shaughnessy have great speed, but are raw and project picks. I don't like it for them on the whole. I can at least appreciate the logic of why Oakland went with DHB and Louis Murphy also makes sense, but some of these guys I have no idea why and most are reaches.

They approach draft day like a bunch of kids playing Madden and while I find it funny it's frustrating. That doesn't set them up for long term success.

The Cardinals draft right before Pittsburgh in the 7th round. A chance for redemption. :)

Casserly just destroyed Jason Smith. Said he was moved up because the OT's were not very strong. lol.

Said his run blocking is probably going to be poor.

I agree. My best friend is a Rams fan and he agreed earlier this week that they should take Sanchez and groom him rather than taking a guy who would have been available in the twenties in last year's draft.

Jason Smith is so average as a first round prospect at best

Has Whiz' been interviewed on ESPN???

It's getting late in the draft and most of the coaches have already been on. Did I miss it??

NFL Network are acting like a bunch of kids with a shiny new toy. They are hardly talking about the picks.

Took a few hour break since the 3rd round so this will be all late stuff -

Greg Toller - Brought this kids name up months ago when we brought him in for a private workout. He was highly scouted, and took personal workout trips to 15 different teams (Browns, Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys, Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jets, Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Vikings, Washington Redskins). Notcie most if not all of the best drafting teams and teams that know how to find talent brouht him in. A lot of scouts showed up to his pro day, which he did with Richmonds pro day, approximately 18 teams were accounted for. He may not have been there in the 5th round at all, that without a doubt was not a certainty considering the amount of scouting he got from a lot of teams. The Huddlereport knew this and had him ranked 134th. He also had a piece on him on the NFL networks Path to the Draft show. You guys may not have know him, but you better believe the league did.

Herman Johnson - He has lost 40 pounds from the senior bowl to his pro day. So he can work his tail off if motivated. Lott can easily get another 20 pounds off of him so he can get at a more managable 335-345. Longest arms in the draft, and usally that means success in the NFL if he has a good OL coach to teach him how to use them.

Will Davis - Production dropped off becuase he had to play DT. But know this, he without a doubt knows how to set the edge and would do that very well as a 3-4 OLB.

I quit watching both networks for their poor coverage sometime back. They should stick to covering the draft in real time as much as possible.

ESPN just had a list of top DE's. They had Graham Harrell from Texas Tech listed. LOL

LaRod Stehphens-Howling. Ewwwwwwwwww. But there's not exactly the pick of the litter left in the 7th, but I'll allow it.

WOW @ RJF being on the brink of being undrafted. Worst decision to declare ever.
