Crabtree will be dangerous when the Niners have a real QB and an OL to protect him, until then he won't put up the numbers he is capable of.

We went 7-9 with that worthless crap of a QB JTO and was an inch from .500. Our defense finished top 4 in points allowed after Singltary took over. Also we still have 8 more picks so we are fine.

Plus you gusy talk like Crabtree is only gonna be with us for a 1 or 2 years or something. The kid will will a Niner for a long time so the pieces will connect.

Envy on what? We have the best Wideout in Fitz and Q can be a #1 in other team plus throw in Breaston and Doucet and we have Envy? What you got is potential in Crab we have 2 3 time pro bowlers in Fitz and Q. Oh btw we have 3 good DB in DRC,McFadden, Hood

Clayton said that nobody wants Leinart for at least a 2nd, as he hasn't proven anything yet, so I don't think we get that trade.

Nobody said that, most of us don't see him as much of a problem right away...no QB no protection will equal him not being as effective as he might be elsewhere. When that gets fixed I expect him to be a regular 90 catch 1100 - 1200 yd 10 TD guy year in and year out.

Next year when you guys pick in the top 15 again you can try to fix your QB problem.
