I dont want them to take a Guard at this point...and its kind of out of spite.

They picked Isiah Adams last year at pick 71...which means he needs to start. They picked him ahead of MUCH MUCH better players like Cooper Bebee (who ended up starting at Center and played well) and Dominic Puni who was the 6th highest rated guard in the league last year.

This was the single most confusing pick of the Monti Era to me...because Adams would have been available in the 6th round based on talent. This screamed "were smarter than everyone else"...even more so that Melton over the other CBs. There was no one who had Adams ranked that high, and we took him anyway.

So now the runway is clear. If he can't step up and start at RG...then he is a bust (at least for a high 3rd round pick). If we bring in a day 3 OG who we think is a better prospect, then he is a bust. Time to put up or shut up.

And to be clear, I dont blame Adams himself. He didnt draft himself 3 rounds early. I wouldnt expect him to step up and start if he had been picked at 171....but when you're the 7th pick in the 3rd round..and he was somehow the 3rd interior O-lineman off the board...then the pressure is on.

Skattebow would be like icing on the cake for this draft. Soooo many fans would be soooo geeked up with him on the team. JC has to miss a game or 3, no problem we have another bulldozer to keep the offense rolling.
Love this draft and offseason soooo much and skattebow would take it over the top from a PR perspective and solidify the RB room.
And I'm not from Arizona so it's not a Homer opinion.

Okay I'll be the bad guy and drive to the anti-skattebo bandwagon! :)

Say no to:

1. 205 pound RBs who run a 4.65
2. drafting players where you're already stacked at on the depth chart
If we draft him it screams publicity stunt to sell tickets. Obviously most of this board lives in or around Arizona so I understand the love affair with him. But this is the NFL and tacklers won’t be bouncing off of him like they did in college.

WR:

Isiah Bond, TX adds a much needed speed element to the offense

Tory Horton, Col St. savvy WR, strong hands, might have just enough speed

Royal or Horton at WR
Frazier at Guard
Evans, the TE from ND
Devin Neal at RB
Chris Paul at LB
Seth McLaughlin the OSU center
Logan Brown and Cam Williams at OT
I really like CJ West is we didn't have a million DTs

Let me make some contrary points.

You think Conner is faster than a 4.65 at this point of his career?
You think Conner is going to make it through the year without missing any games?
How many more years do you expect high end performance from Conner?

If you like a Conner style back, Skattebo seems like a good replacement to me.

Dont like Frazier with this offense. Mbow looks a better fit to me. Worried about McLaughlin injury issue. Not taking an RB
