We got snow about 2 hours ago. I'm northwest of Tucson and there is a hard freeze warning for tonight and tomorrow night. Could get to 22 degrees.

Also, Mount Lemmon has received about 2 feet of snow. Looks like I will be skiing Saturday if the road is open.

Been snowing off and on here at Dynamite/Scottsdale area since late morning. Sticks for a couple minutes, but not cold enough to let it accumulate - my porch thermometer says 38 degrees.

We had 2" rain in the past 24 hours -- imagine if that had been snow! I covered all my veggies under a foot of straw earlier, expecting a hard freeze the next couple nights.

I had people shocked that it snowed here. They wanted to know how much we were getting, lol. As if it would stick or something. :)

-32 (regular temp is -10) this morning. Expecting -41 (wind chill) today. It's snowing and absolutely dreadful outside with the wind.

That totally sucks.

And here I was getting bummed cause it might drop to 31 degrees tonight.

My stupid neighbor left his dog out again tonight. Grrr

My cat tried to get out on the patio last night as I was covering the plants. I told her "Trust me, Bailey, tonight is NOT the night you wanna be outside."

I went to Lowes last night for strawberry plants (classroom project) and saw that, at 8 p.m., they were watering their plants. Silly, silly, silly. I am sure all those plants froze to death last night.

Windchills were about -40 yesterday. I've lived here for the better part of 30 years and if there has been a colder day, I can't remember it.

A little warmer today, but man, that wind is COLD!

It's going to be even colder tonight as temps are suppose to get down to 14 degrees. The good news is there won't be too much wind.

Woke up this morning and it's snowing! We have about an inch and a half of snow.
