Ah...yeah, at least the forecast says no rain for the Phoenix area tonight, including the outlying areas. But tomorrow a way better chance!

Heres hoping, the clouds I saw this morning when I woke up really threw me off.

Yeah...the local NWS guy today didn't write a whole lot about it. Usually when something like that happens, they have a nice discussion about why, what it means, etc. But the guy on today isn't as good I don't think at explaining things.

THERE HAS BEEN CHANGES TO WEDNESDAYS LATE AFTERNOON/EVENING
FORECASTS...ADDING A THREAT FOR THUNDERSTORMS AND STRONG WINDS

Anyone seeing any action?? It apparently rained hard but briefly in Mesa, and South Mountain is apparently seeing some good action with northern Chandler perhaps next??

We drove through some heavy winds and rain. Knocked down a huge tree branch near the 101 and Guadalupe. It was from Rural to Dobson and ... about 3 minutes worth. LOL

Just got back from a day in Prescott. It was cloudy and rainy all afternoon there, with temps in the mid 70"s! Drove home to Scottsdale in rain and dust-storms the whole way. And am now getting pounded with a terrific storm! Steady and hard rain for at least the past 20 mins with no let-up in sight! Nice!!

8 O'clock last night: High winds, dust, thunder, lightning, and heavy rain. For an hour. The Vortex doth die.
