It's cold. That is all.

I've spent the last three days working at Chase Field setting up an event, no heat, with the loading dock doors open, never closed, leading to the field, it's like a wind tunnel.

I've been wearing probably five layers of clothing and still freezing

shoot man, I happy with the temp here this weeks... the high temp hasn't hit 30 all week in Albuquerque. I'm loving it.

Some loud thunder in Chandler. Might be some rain soon too.

It is getting daaaaaark in downtown PHX. No rain or wind yet though.

Thank goodness for this thread.

I've been using it to help pin down the date of a storm when a customer says something like: "Some roofer said I have damage from a hail storm in September of last year."

Just saw the most amazing, vibrant double rainbow in South Scottsdale. Wish I could have gotten a good pic.

OK, I'm a little bummed. It hit 85 degrees Friday, throwing most of my tender lettuce and rappini into pre-bolt shock. This morning I walk out and there's a light effing frost on the extremely miserable peppers and tomatoes... Not to mention what the hail did on Sunday to everything. And it's back to the mid 80's by Saturday.:pullhair:

Temp has been crazy, birds are getting at our lettuce, something else is getting into the squash and cucumber. The tomato is doing good but my wife is thinking of going back to just flowers and tougher plants.

These are the only times of the year that I appreciate my concrete brick wall around my patio. It really does well to help insulate the plants from the cold.

I need to watch the news more often, this storm surprised me!

Edit: AZCentral called for a 10% chance of rain today.

It was supposed to be a chance of "Sprinkles" Even the last forecast discussion from the NWS as of 2 hours ago didn't think much would happen.

I had to chase my garbage can before it blew into my pool and I had to strap down my grill cover. Crap, I don't expect this kind of action until July.

Anxiously awaiting a report from The Vortex.

I just got home, it's midnight, from being out of town.
Lot's of water still in the street, my lawn looks like it got a good soaking and evidently my house lost power because all my clocks are flashing.

The good news is, I may be traveling a lot this summer so if history holds true it should be an active monsoon because it always rains when I am out of town. :D

We probably got close to an inch of rain last night. We looked in the NE sky at around 3:30 and it looked like it was literally raining on one house somewhere. An hour or so later, we got pounded. It cooled the air 20 degrees and we were able to sleep with the window open again for the last time.... :(

I got stuck walking in El Dorado park. It was awesome. Hung out under the bridge and watched two young boys play in the rain. They had a blast. Was super cool.

Anyone seeing Mike Olbinski's live shots on Ch. 12? I'm piecing them together and will have them up on the web here after 6pm.
