MESA! :thud:
Nice pics! I didn't get any rain today...there were clouds that looked positively unreal all over...little happy clouds painted into the sky. Even my daughter thought they looked fake. I think it was because the "backdrop" was more clouds, instead of the clear blue sky. It was really pretty, though.

Riley's cute, and you have a peaceful-looking backyard... :)

It is right now pouring with lightning and thunder. Love when it storms early in the afternoon.

Me neither. I owe you $1.30. My kids don't need to eat for a couple of days anyway.

sweet, that will buy Arthur a drink of beer at the stadium. Not a beer, but a drink of one.

So I went down to Phoenix was on the westside and it started to rain. Then came back up to Prescott Valley and since I have been home it has already rained .10 inches in about 15 minutes. And:

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR

* PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL ARIZONA...NORTH CENTRAL ARIZONA...
NORTHEAST ARIZONA AND WEST CENTRAL ARIZONA...INCLUDING THE
FOLLOWING AREAS...IN EAST CENTRAL ARIZONA...NORTHERN GILA
COUNTY. IN NORTH CENTRAL ARIZONA...COCONINO PLATEAU...EASTERN
MOGOLLON RIM...GRAND CANYON COUNTRY...KAIBAB PLATEAU...LITTLE
COLORADO RIVER VALLEY IN COCONINO COUNTY AND MARBLE AND GLEN
CANYONS. IN NORTHEAST ARIZONA...BLACK MESA AREA...CHINLE
VALLEY...CHUSKA MOUNTAINS AND DEFIANCE PLATEAU...LITTLE
COLORADO RIVER VALLEY IN APACHE COUNTY...LITTLE COLORADO RIVER
VALLEY IN NAVAJO COUNTY...NORTHEAST PLATEAUS AND MESAS HWY 264
NORTHWARD...NORTHEAST PLATEAUS AND MESAS SOUTH OF HWY 264 AND
WHITE MOUNTAINS. IN WEST CENTRAL ARIZONA...OAK CREEK AND
SYCAMORE CANYONS...WESTERN MOGOLLON RIM...YAVAPAI COUNTY
MOUNTAINS AND YAVAPAI COUNTY VALLEYS AND BASINS.

* UNTIL 4 AM MST SUNDAY

* A VERY MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS ALONG WITH AN UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCE WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHERN ARIZONA TONIGHT. DUE TO LARGE AREAS
OF SATURATED SOILS FROM HEAVY RAIN OVER THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS
AND THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AGAIN TONIGHT...A FLASH
FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WILL
HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL
PER HOUR.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY LEAD TO FLASH
FLOODING WITHIN THE WATCH AREA. PEOPLE...ESPECIALLY THOSE LOCATED
ALONG AREA CREEKS...RIVERS OR OTHER FLASH FLOOD PRONE AREAS...
SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO
TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.

and
.DISCUSSION...THIS EVENINGS WATER VAPOR LOOP SHOWS A PART OF THE
INVERTED TROF CENTERED OVER SWRN NEW MEXICO HAS MOVED INTO EASTERN
AND CENTRAL AZ. THERE IS QUITE A BIT OF STRONG CONVECTION CONTINUING
THIS EVENING. WHILE STORMS ARE MOVING FASTER NOW THAN THE PAST FEW
DAYS...THERE ARE QUITE A FEW TSTORM OUTFLOWS MOVING AROUND AND
TRIGGERING NEW STORMS. SO WE WILL EXTEND THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH UNTIL
4 AM SUNDAY.

Just got home tonight and the storms did a lot of road damage. Sabino Canyon got over 3 inches of rain today. Where I live it looks like I got over 1.5 inches.
