I can't remember the last time it rained on Thanksgiving. The entire state is going to get rain and snow in the higher elevations. :)

I hope so! I'm heading up north to cut down my xmas tree on Friday.

Looks like we are gonna get a lot of rain from midnight tonight through tomorrow. The weather service issued a Flood Watch for us through noon. They expect us to get around .5-.75inches with localized areas close to 2 inches. Going to make for a great Turkey Bowl for those playing in the morning tomorrow....gotta love the chances to play football in the mud here in AZ.

From the NWS-
A MASSIVE PACIFIC STORM WILL MOVE INTO ARIZONA TONIGHT. INCREASING RAIN...SOMETIMES HEAVY...WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED OVER SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA GENERALLY AFTER MIDNIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.

Looks like a cold wet week ahead of us:

TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS MONDAY INTO THURSDAY ARE ANTICIPATED TO RANGE
FROM HALF AN INCH ON THE LOWEST DESERTS OF YUMA COUNTY TO TWO INCHES
OR MORE IN THE FOOTHILL LOCATIONS SUCH AS WICKENBURG AND CAVE CREEK.
AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE PHOENIX AREA.

They are saying that it is going to get cold enough that Tucson might get some some on Thursday.

Well, we just officially hit 8 inches of rain at my house in 2008.

.45 inches today, and a bit more coming tonight from what I can see. Maybe in the next 30 minutes.

8 inches! (that's what she said)

Had two inches of rain since last night. My chow chows also refuse to go outside -- they hate to get their feet wet.

Well thanks for stealing my line (or actually Michael Scott's line)

I am at just a shade over 9 inches........of rain on the year (9.03). :D

Four tenths overnight! Adding more to the total. Come on December, you can bust 9 inches!

We're actually pushing 11 inches up here in North Scottsdale! Got almost an 1.25 yesterday... Need approximately .45 more to bust through 11 inches of rain for the year! Based on the weather reports - I like out chances!

This is awesome. There might be some pre-Christmas snowboarding in Flag. :)

My sister just called from Vegas freaking out about the snowstorm. Looks like they are going to break a 29 year old record for snow. When do we get our snowstorm!?
