Yeah, the clouds are getting dark, we'll see if they can make it over South Mountain.

Huge storm hit late this afternoon and the winds were so strong that the Palo Verde tree in my front yard was ripped apart.

You almost make me hate you Lefty when you bring up the storms that you get...but then I realize it means you have to live in Tucson so then I don't feel so bad.

In all seriousness though, I would love to get rain and storms as often as you do, hopefully the tree survives.

I actually live northwest of Tucson and the tree will not survive. Half of it is spread on my driveway while the other half will have to be cut down. Unfortunately, due to work, I will have to work on getting it removed in the evenings. Some friends will take the big parts of the tree to the dump this coming weekend.

Ya looking like tonight could get interesting. SOOOOOOOOO much moisture, if you get a storm its gonna just DUMP rain for however long its around. They are predicting some places could see 2+ inches
