A train wreck is exciting but not very functional.
This method hasn’t shown much functionality either Harry. If we have to wait 5 years to be relevant, I’d say that’s a failure. Give us the fans, something to be excited about

Not true. They were 6-4 through Thanksgiving and #1 in the division.
The game that really broke the back of our good playoff chances was Dec 8th at home against Seattle. If we had won that game we would have been back in first place by tiebreaker.

We were officially eliminated when we lost to Carolina on the 22nd.

He tore his ACL in late October. Probably will be an in season signing at some point or end up on our PS once healthy.
No, we will sign him as soon as Josh sweat tears his bicep and is out for the year in week four… because that is the cardinal way

its real

this is a good get -- culture setter in the locker room who was still playing at a high level last year

damn Keim and his 3-D chess move of drafting Robert Nkemdiche so he could let Calais walk

Good pick up if for no other reason than he’s a legit vet with a voice the young guys will listen to. Leadership is key for any team and Calais brings almost two decades worth of it to then team.

5 sacks and 12 TFL is still pretty solid and the TFL are more than I expected. The D-Line rotation should be much improved this season. That’s exciting.

With everything we added to our front 7 in FA, I’m guessing that our first pick ends up O-line at this point.

even more pitiful would be past Cardinals incarnations not trying to upgrade because of money already spent, so i'll take whatever this FO's MO is over that, even if the initial swing and misses hurt the squad.
True, although the need/time of signing him last offseason was far more desperate than where we're at now. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have him here.

Love it!! And I'll say it in every thread. Calais need to play...for the cards....as long as he wants. If the IMMEDIATE next moves are not, retire, ring of honor, position in the organization as Mr. Cardinal....the public face of everything this team wants to do in the community.....then we have made a mistake.

Its coming together perfectly. With Wolf needing to take a step back, what better person to come along and jump back into big red rage....do the youth ball stuff...organize the charities...continue with "character counts" and some of the positive things we have going.

Now all we need is convince Kurt Warner to be our color guy in the booth replacing Wolf...and man...what an offseason
