Breaston pays off

The Cardinals had had the longest stretch in NFL history without returning a punt for a touchdown until just now. Johnny Bailey did it Sept. 12, 1993, returning a 58-yard Reggie Roby punt against Washington. Now Steve Breaston broke off a 73-yard punt return for a score and a 14-7 lead. It couldn't have happened except the Steelers had to re-kick after an illegible man downfield penalty on the first (59-yard) punt.

The Cards caught a break. Now they have to finish.
