He has the tools, but the emotions of a 2 year old. One thing goes wrong and its all over. If he can get a "hardass" mentality then he will be a star in this league. however, if he has this "soft" personality for the rest of his carreer he will be nothing more than a streaky role player.

Don't know if I agree with your angle. It seems KJ was very emotional too, and the crowd fed off of it and it was good for the team and organization. But I think he's a lot tougher physically than KJ and won't get worn down after a couple years, like KJ did.

Big win, very ugly game. I guess it must be playoff time. The Suns showed a ton of heart. I thought they were going to need a stretcher to get Marbury off the floor. But he came back in and played tough, delivering a few Coney Island elbows to Duncan, even though he couldn't feel anything in his right arm. That guy has guts and then some.

Shawn missed a dunk in the fourth, Marbury threw up 2 airballs, and missed both free throws and we still managed to win. Thank God! I thought Hardaway had a better shot at the winning basket than little Jake and was suprised he dished it, but I'll take it. Unbelievable that he got the shot off against Duncan over his outstretched arm. I love Little Jake's quote after the game, "I've never hit a buzzer beater before."

Just keep taking it to the hole guys, cuz Malik Rose and the other "bigs" can't gaurd you off the dribble.

Go Suns! Time to take Game 5!

a couple of adjustments tonight

1)Obviously we didn't double team Duncan everytime he got the ball and we always had a big man (scott, voskhul, googs and stoudemire) on him instead of double teaming with two swingmen. Their guards didn't get the same open looks that they had in previous games.

2)We pressed the ball. It created most of 25 TOs and got our running game going in the second half, that's something we didn't do before. The Spurs had hard time setting up their offense.

3)We didn't rush or settle for outside shots down the stretch. Almost all the points were scored near the basket except Penny and JJ's 3s. JJ made a couple nice drives. still can't believe 2 missed dunks by Marion.

4)We finally got something from our bench. JJ, Googs and Outlaw
all played well. Googs two jumpers in the 3rd were huge. FJ needs to play Googs and Outlaw instead of going small ball all game.

I was at the game also. The refs sucked form the majority of the game, but I think they tried to call it fairly at the end of the game (last 6 minutes or so). I think the refs we worse Friday night in game 3. There were a lot of bad calls, but what I thought were the worst were all the calls made away from the ball. Those calls got the Suns over the team foul limit early into what seemed like every qtr again.

Does anyone know why Steph was given a technical foul? It looked like he said about 5 words to one of the refs in a mild demeanor and then he got a T.

Anyways, it was great to be there for the comeback. The crowd was awesome and really tried to stay in the game despite the refs and the Suns being down the entire game. I've got the same tickets for game 6 so hopefully it'll be the series winner for the Suns.

I thin steph got the tech for elbowing duncan in the stomach. the refs probably wanted to calm him down.

I was happy for this win. We were clutch at the end like we've been all season. Penny may seem nonchalant during the game but come clutch time the man is "money" (no pun indeeded).

WOW! What a game I was lucky and got to go to the game. Man the house was rocking it had to be loudest I have very heard that area!!!!!!!!! At the end of the game Steph's emotion when we won was great, he realy shows allot of emotion and heart for this team and Phoenix. Man after the game when everyone was leaving the halls were filled with excitment and everyone just kept screaming and banging the sticks that they handed out!! It was not like game 7 of the World Series but it was close. The parking lots and people driving were honking their horns and yelling out the windows!!! I admit it I had to wipe my eyes two when I say Marbury on his knees in the middle of the court with his arms raised! This game was one of my top two games I have ever gone to. Game 7 is still number one until Suns in the Finals to close it out!

I am proude to be a SUNS fan with all of you!!

Amare's dunk was SICK!!!!!

I watched the tape of the fourth quarter as I was getting up this morning. Marbury got the technical foul for giving the referee an earful. It was probably deserved.

Sorry this post is so late, Just got back into town tonight! But Marbury didn't say anything to the officials, He was giving stephen Jackson or Bowen, I can't remember which, But he was giving one of them alot of smack! I could read is lips perfectly he was calling him a MF amd a f'n ***** and many other colorful things and the ref thought he was trying to start a fight!
That was one of the better games I have attended, I had a great time, I was hoping to meet some of you at the game, I wrote down the sections some of you were sitting in and took them with me and then left them in my suitcase at my sisters house.
I didn't think we played all that well but it made the trip well worth it when they pulled it out in the end. Me and my mom met Eddie Johnson after the game, He was a class man, and made my moms night! This was her mothers day present from me and It wouldn't of been that great if they lost! I'm looking forward to tuesdays game even though it's earlier then I get off. go suns
