We better not lose a game until the Cleveland game.

Philly, New Jersey and Chicago are absolute must wins. Lets get hom 5-0 against the Kings!

Suns 107 Sixers 87

We'll probably see the Suns use their small lineup if that's the Sixers starting lineup. I think it should work really well against them too. On paper we should be able to blow this team out of the arena........

Mark Jackson can be a load to handle, but the suns will probably run him and he will gas out halfway through the first quarter and then Dalambert? will be in, not sure that is good or bad as he is a runner and Jackson is a scorer.

This should be a suns win even if Iverson scores 30.

109-93 suns.

Amare explodes for 30'something points and 10+ boards
Marion goes for 18 points and 12 boards
Nash has 15 points and 10+ assists
JJ goes for 20+ points 6 boards and 5 assists
Q goes for 15+ points 5 boards

its going to be a run and gun game with these guys getting a good amount of minutes unless its a blowout early....which probably wont happen.

BTW....when does ESPN update their power rankings. i dont think they've done it since the start of pre season.

The first game showed that the preseason was no fluke--teams that can't force the Suns out of their small-ball lineups will have a lot of trouble with the Suns' speed and depth.

Unlike some of you, though, I think Philly can make the Suns pay for small ball. Marion isn't going to be able to guard Kenny Thomas, and Amare is going to have trouble with Jackson or Dalembert on the boards.

So, the question for me is, will the Suns recognize that small ball is hurting them? And, will they still be able to compete if they have to play regular-sized ball for the entire game?

I think the Suns will probably lose this one, since it's a road game. If the team competes and the coaches play big lineups, I'll feel better about it either way.

you've got five guys at 98+ points. i don't think that's gonna happen. in fact, i think it'll be the rare game where all five of 'em go into double digits. and REALLY rare when they all hit for over 15, especially if one goes for 30+ and another for 20+.

Jackson Vroman is starting tonight.

Al McCoy said that Q is out tonight (of the starting line?).

I don't want to jinx them, but I think the Suns are going to win big again tonight. I will say this though. If Jim O'Brien has half a brain he will pull Samuel Dalembert on Amare Stoudemire all night long. I don't think Jackson is going to get many minutes tonight. The Suns will run his fat A off the floor.

Phoenix 105
Philadelphia 91

Jackson is way too slow and short to cover Amare. Last season Dalembert would give Amare trouble on the double teams with his length and athleticism.

Joe Johnson should have a big game if Willie Green is defending him.

IMPRESSIVE DEFENSE

How good is Nash at getting everyone involved. He's unbelievable. I shudder when remembering the type of shots Marbury put up.

Should have extended JJ though we will still keep him at a higher price because it looks like he might actually deserve allstar money at the end of the year.

The amazing thing is that Nash hasn't even looked for his shot yet and the team was up 20. Nash has had some amazing passes too ( 9 assists). The Sixers have got to be tired trying to play a running game. If the Suns can keep up the tempo, they should run away with this game like they did against Atlanta.

I'm not a huge Johnson fan, but I have to admit that he looked fantastic in the first half. It might be the best I've ever seen him play.
