She doesnt need it. Its all about her grace. And her long legs, too :D

Yeah, I'm just playing. She's great to watch. It's funny watching both her and Shawn...so different, but both so amazing.

I love Nastia on the beam...she is graceful as hell. Shawn sticks everything, but Nastia's beam is so nice. Shawn's floor at the end was perfect...but not enough.

Nice to be 1-2!

And speaking of hot...in a couple years it will be ok to say this, but I'll say it now anyway.

Shawn is damn pretty.

'Course she's illegal now. But I find it funny how much prettier someone can be when they don't have their hair all pulled back and in competition. Maybe she'll grow into those cute bugs bunny teeth. :D

I think Shawn is prettier than Alicia. Shawn has a GREAT smile.

So anybody else agree that Bela Karolyi's incredible over the top homerism is actually HURTING the "effort" to expose some discrepancies with the Chinese women's gymnastic performances?

First he goes off about the age thing to an extent that I almost felt like yelling shut up at the tv, even though I agree if they broke the rule they should be disqualified. and then last night he goes on and on about the Chinese woman who won bronze on the vault because there was supposed to be 2 deductions 8/10 each but they only took one and that's why Sacramone finished in 4th. I completely agree with him again as soon as the Chinese score went up my girlfriend and I said "huh that's way too high," but Karolyi comes off as being such a cheerleader for the US that I think he's actually detracting from the point.

That said Sacramone was cheated out of the bronze IMHO.

U.S. Men's baseball is assured of advancing to semis. Play Japan to determine 3rd or 4th seeding

So very happy for Shawn...she is my favorite of the US gymnasts, followed by Sacramone and Nastia. I'm really glad she got a gold out of this Olympics. Great for her coach, too. I still feel badly for Sacramone...wish she had medaled in the vault.

Im glad its finally ending.. That schedule just was not working for me.. Being up late at nite to watch some of those things sucked.. Plus it started off with a bang watching Phelps.. The middle lagged a little.. Then the end with basketball was cool.. I did stay up last nite to watch us get gold in basketball.. I just didnt have the connection with this team as I did the Dream Team.. Dunno why, but I do know partially it had to do with Kobe being on the team.. But anyways, 2 weeks is a good time for the Olympics.. It just started to feel like it was about to start dragging, then bam, its done..
